This has a lovely charm on decor and the amenities are very good. The staff gave incorrect information on breakfast vouchers and no information on website or asking if I was ok to go up a large staircase and another two flights to get to the room. No one to help with bags so I was glad I travelled light. As it was Boxing Day amenities closed early which was a shame when I picked the hotel for this reason. On checkout I waited whilst two staff had a discussion at the computer and even then they acted like I was an annoying addition to their day. The breakfast was fair with a few hot and cold choices.

It was about a 1/2hr walk from Center town or an 8 minute walk to the bus stop. Nice quiet area and cheaper than most in the area. Rooms were a little small but clean and comfortable especially when all we were doing there was sleeping there. Breakfast buffet was good but we only used it the day we left.

We booked through hotels.com not fully aware it was an accessible room. Not a problem usually, however, the room was big, cosy, clean, comfortable and the shower was amazing. Here comes the but!!!! The room was just off reception. So we heard it all from breakfast time and beyond. Thwy did moveus two days in to a standard double. Should have stayed where we were firg8ving the 15 min interval wake up calls. Room was tiny; mold on tiles, bed like a rock. Plus light shone from landing...like a messiah was being born. Breakfast was good. Staff good as try best cant fault them x

I was impressed with Linton Lodge, I would give 4.5 stars if that were an option! The main downside is it’s more costly than is warranted - but that’s the hotels market in Oxford for you. Also would be handy if you could book a parking spot. But the check in was quick and easy, room really nice and the hotel actually has facilities - food and drink for sale, a bar and breakfast room etc. A decent option to know.

Nice hotel but uncomfortable bed and pillows
We only stayed one night and unfortunately I was ill (nothing to do with the hotel) so couldn't get out of the room and try the facilities and the restaurant. What I saw of the hotel looked fine. However we both found the bed was too firm (not at all comfortable) and particularly the pillows were foam not feather. One was not thick enough but two were too thick and there was not much give in the pillows so very uncomfortable. Not a pleasant night sleep (even accounting for being unwell for half the night). On the plus side it was located in a pleasant and quiet residential street with an excellent bus service to and from the town centre from the end of the road (a few minutes walk). The room and bathroom sizes were OK and they were clean.

Ok hotel for the price. Breakfast is well worth it. In the bathroom and bathtub faucets have both a hot and cold valve so you either burn yourself or freeze yourself.

Pretty hotel close to Oxford center
The hotel was a very pleasant and pretty find. It is in a very nice and quiet area, within 20mins walk (all flat) to the centre. There are kick-scooters available in the area if you don't want to walk. The rooms are pretty and quite comfortable, except our beds were rather hard. There was a great selection at breakfast. The garden is very pretty with places to sit and several squirrels playing.

Great hotel
Great hotel, Executive room excellent, bathroom spotless. Small bar was a bonus. Didn’t notice in the terms that you have to pay £10 for parking but could have parked on the road outside for free. Friendly staff, all in all we would stop here again if in the area.

An Average But Adequate Hotel
Very average hotel but perfectly acceptable. Staff were polite and friendly. Buffet breakfast was good, nice choice of food. Room was clean but bathroom was very small, generally very clean but some mould around the bath.

A mostly pleasant stay.
I think the only complaint I would have is that the bathroom was a little bit too small and the shower didn't have a sliding glass door to prevent water from spilling out on the floor. Other than that, everything else was excellent.
