I want to give them the highest rating because of the staff being so great, but the room was dirty. I could write on the furniture due to the dust being so thick and my bed had dirt and sand in it. The chair in my room had dirt stains on it also.

This hotel is a hidden gem! The location is amazing! Close from restaurants, shopping, gas stations and supermarkets, but very quiet. Room and common areas were very clean (I am VERY picky with cleanness). The staff was very nice, specially the check in lady (sorry, didn't get her name). Breakfast was abundant, hot and delicious. You are basically having great quality of service, for a very affordable price. This will be our point to stay in Birmingham. Thank you.

Great property for the night stay, was clean and comfortable. The staff was really nice. Only complaint I have is the water would get hot in the sink but not the shower. It was more like room temp water.

I had a 3-night stay at this hotel. Everything is great, staff were friendly and professional. However, I request room service to clean room on my last day. I was working out of my room and waited for them to come so I can move to the lobby and work. I waited till 5pm when the cleaning lady was working on the room next door. She asked if I need cleaning and I said YES. 10 mins later I checked on her and she was gone. The front desk said she left for the day and gave me new towels and sheets. I told her I wasn't going to change the sheets and take out the trash from 2 days as I was very upset.

The room was clean and spacious. However, the bathroom felt like a sauna and one of the ac unit's wasn't working in the suite. My family didn't sleep comfortably because it was extremely hot in the area we slept in.

Very biker friendly during the Barbers Vintage Days. Quiet, clean, and even paper towels and window cleaner were provided for our bikes. Good and plentiful breakfast. Will be back there next year.

Buyer Beware
I did not feel safe at the hotel with my toddler daughter and did not stay. I made reservations in the late afternoon and requested my money back and was told we could not be refunded because it was under 24 hours.

The service was fine- they let us check in early due to a tournament, so that was very gracious of them. The room we were in had an incredibly strong bleach smell, but the restroom smelled as if someone had just had a terrible bowel movement. The facility is rather old and dated, but other than the restroom, the room was clean.

Decent hotel
The hotel was nice. We arrived 15 minutes after check-in time and our room wasn’t ready, however it was ready within the next 5 minutes. There were ants on the AC unit and just some minor repairs/details that could be fixed especially in the bathroom. Other than that it was a good hotel, really appreciated the 11 am checkout time opposed to 10 am.

Hot and smelly room
Suite had a bad smell, took well into the night before the room finally cooled down, door lock didn't latch well. We won't be staying at this hotel again.
