"Charming little house, and I felt thoroughly spoiled by the upgrade to a suite! Just wonderful. The reception clerk even kindly offered to post my postcards since I had to catch a train. Very kind staff, the three I met. I wish the windows opened more, but I understand."

"The staff was so very helpful and nice. Every request we made was met quickly and with a smile. This city doesn't sleep much in the center so it isn't very quiet outside but the inside of the hotel was very peaceful and we slept very well! Very clean and comfortable!"

"The hotel was welcoming, simply furnished but clean and comfortable. The only issue was the fridge which did not seem to be working, but I would definitely stay there again. Suggest including more tea/coffee sachets in the room, plus biscuits. "

"Wonderful, laid back, clean, on-the-water pub with very charming rooms & great breakfast that was included in the room rate. Great dining menu, outdoor terrace always busy. Overall a very friendly & accommodating staff. Walkable to City Centre, Christ Church, Ashmolean, Botanical Gardens, groceries, train station, you name it! Loved it! Special thanks to Emms & the gentleman managing the guests on the outdoor terrace. "
