Exactly what I expected for $70. Clean and comfortable and close to where I needed to be.

Nice hotel across the street from the beach.

It is a small motel that has been around for years. The beds are hard, no phone in room for wake up calls if needed. They had just opened for the season. Small closet and dresser only had two drawers. They are replacing the old tv's because like the one we had only had one channel, couldn't be programmed for the cable system they have. They are making renovations to update this motel.I liked that it was so close to the beach!

Thanks for your review. We are currently doing some updates. We don't have phones because that would be an additional expense on our guests and most people have cell phones today. The TV problem should have been one that we could have fixed. Sorry for the inconvenience. Hope you will consider us again.

Pros: Location
Cons: Add a dehumidifier to the room.
Location: Very close to Jeanette's Pier, Tangiers Outletts, Beach.
Furniture in room was molded, carpet near wall was either dusty or moldy. There was no one in the office to return key and get receipt from when we got ready to leave. There was a note on the door with a number to call, and upon doing so I was instructed to slide the key under the door. Not very professional.

Management was VERY accommodating for an early check in. I found the online pictures to be misleading. The vending machines were not working and the ice machine was a double sided cooler with ice in each side. The room was very clean. Had I been more familiar with the area I would have stayed elsewhere.

Great value! Sure the hotel is a little dated, but who cares? It's on the beach! Besides, I didn't come to the outer banks to stay in my room the whole time. Great choice if you're not a hotel snob.

I would not recommend this motel .the floor was dirty. The water would not get hot. I would not get a receipt.

The rug was damp and the room smelled musty. There were not any outlets in the bathroom. The lack of Internet was not a problem on this particular visit, but could be to someone.
