The issue is that we reserved and prepaid for a 1st floor Dune View King room. We were informed on arrival that it was not available. We ended up on the second floor with a back parking lot view

Older Days Inn. Well kept. Very good price. Honestly was a long work day and thought I'd let down and read, once I crawled into the bed it was so comfy I turned off the light and went to sleep. Olga was very friendly at check in. Breakfast was plentiful, no peanut butter bcuz they are allergy conscious. They were getting the fire place started when I left. Very cozy environment. Oh and they had hot cider and cookies at check in Not to mention it's right on the waterfront, so I got to peak at and listen to the ocean before work.

Comfy rooms, old world charm in renovated hotel
Our third stay at Days Inn. Suite was was roomy with microwave, mini fridge/freezer, faux leather loveseat & chair. Also good size desk w/ office chair. Lots of lighting. Very comfortable beds. Had some trouble with cable connection, so unable to watch a movie one night. Plenty of ports for phone charging. Nice, fluffy towels in bathroom.

We chose Wydham in KDH based on reviews and price. We didn't need something fancy for two days, just clean, comfortable and a view of the ocean. The staff provided all of that and more!! The staff was very accommodating. The room was very clean and comfortable. Plenty of amenities were included. We will definitely choose Wyndham @ KDH in the future for short getaways!!

We love this place, this was our 3rd weekend there with more to follow. Staff is incredibly friendly and kind. Lobby area with fireplace lit is cozy and beautiful. Rooms always in perfect cleanliness.

We have stayed in the Wright Days Inn several times and enjoyed it. The breakfast was always exceptional. This time the breakfast was seriously lacking. Instead of a hot breakfast bar, everything had to be microwaved.

Old Carolina Charm
Lovely old hotel. Charming lobby with wood-burning fireplace and renovated rooms/bathrooms. All rooms have cable TV, iron/ironing board, and small fridge & microwave in a cabinet. Beach is just over the dunes.
All decked out for Christmas. Hot cider and cookies in the lobby!

We had stayed at this hotel in 2015, and it was just like coming home. There is such a comfortable an friendly atmosphere. The options for the breakfast meal are excellent. The added touch of a beverage in the afternoon and relaxing in the lounge is an extra bonus.

Walls are a little thin if your a light sleeper it might bother you but it’s to be expected for older properties. Overall was clean and beds we’re comfortable toilet seat was made of wood which is unusual for a hotel. I would stay here again for the price I paid.

Checkin nightmare
checkin was a nightmare, as Wyndam system for payment was down-meaning multiple credit cards declined AND cash not accepted. The front desk person was initially very dismissive about our credit cards, offered no alternative other then for us to call the credit card companies for help. We weren't the only ones, long line of folks wanting to checkin! Finally after about 15 minutes, corporate Wyndham notified the front desk person of system-wide problem (after at least 6 different credit cards were tried from us and others!!!) Also no elevator, although luckily only 2 floors. Pluses_very close to ocean, and ocean view rooms WERE ocean view! Had a good breakfast, and clean rooms.

The system was down, and like you mentioned earlier, front desk agents weren't notified about an issue. In the meantime, not all credit cards were being declined, some payments successfully went through. Also, as soon as we were notified that the system was down, we let you stay in the room and called you back as soon as the system was back and let you know your payment was accepted. Again, we are sorry for the inconvenience and hopefully you will accept our apologies. Thank you!

Great old, but updated place!
Great old, but definitely well updated hotel! We enjoyed our weekend stay, especially the old pictures and post cards of the place back in its early days. The quaint breakfast room was nice. And the foyer sitting area would be nice in winter with a fire going in the fireplace. The old wainscoting on the hall walls also lent to the old original feel! We were a little disappointed that our ocean view room was a little obstructed by the dune in between us and the ocean. If we stay again, we will just book a different room and walk to the ocean forgetting the view from the room.

Room was dated, but comfortable. I was there for 5 days. Towels were exchanged the 1st 2 days, after that, not all all. Coffee, soap, and shampoo were never replaced. Bed was never made. Breakfast was poor. "Hash browns" did not appear to be cooked, just warmed up from frozen. Eggs were watery everyday. Sunday morning, pancakes were available, but there was no syrup. Also ran out of eggs.
