Loved the beach access

We stayed for 4 days as a stop over for heading home after 3 months in Pawleys Island, SC. We love the OBX area. We enjoyed the breakfasts and dinners and the staff was extremely friendly. I would stay again.

In need of new beds. Bed was not comfortable.

Pros: Free Breakfast, staff was professional, nice and pleasant.
Cons: Beds, bath door frames rusted, balcony door is old, didn't close properly.
The staff and breakfast was great. 5 stars. The upgrades are still need on the balcony door was rusted and old and molding in bathroom was rusted. Bed was horrible, upgrade beds ASAP.

Pros: Staff was very friendly. Location. Hot breakfast.
Cons: Cleaning of bathroom, location of toilet paper, balcony door needs repaired.
Check in was quick and easy. Friendly staff. The hotel was being worked on but not a problem. Sunrise off the back deck was beautiful. Easy access to pretty much everything. Large selection for breakfast. House keeping could be a little better. Explosive diarrhea still on the inner rim of the toilet when we arrived. Toilet paper in poor location. Beds were not that comfortable. Despite these issues I would stay again.

Nice Hotel On the Beach

Pros: Very close to the beach. Centrally located. Hot breakfast included.
Overall the experience was good. It was off season so many repairs were in progress, but they did not interfere with our stay. The hot breakfast that was included was good and offered many choices. The staff were friendly and helpful.

We were on a non smoking floor but I believe that there was someone in a near room who was smoking. I reported it to the front desk and they said that they would check the floor. The hotel is being updated at this time so there is some inconvenience because of that.

Good value for the money

Okay. Front desk staff was friendly and professional. The room was clean but I had to ask for toiletries for the second day. They're doing renovations but the work is only being done during the day so the noise wasn't a problem. The hot breakfast was basic but adequate. Overall a good value, especially for the off season. I'd stay here again if I was in the area.

I have stayed at this hotel once before and had an overall good experience. This past stay was not like the one I had before. The room was dirty, our heaterror did not work, and the hotel was having construction done to it while we were there. The construction was very loud and I wish we would have known construction was going to be done before we stayed there. I hate giving a bad review on this hotel because we had ano overall good stay before, but as said in previous,this stay was not the best we have had. I hope this review helps.
