TV didn't work and staff couldn't care less until the last day when two staff members tried to step up to the plate Air conditioner only worked occasionally, needed a remote for it which turned out to be wrong remote bathroom sink only trikled water, told they could only supply good shower flow. Mold in bathroom

Very dirty but good location

The room was very dirty and gross. Shower was covered in mold. The whole room smelled like a public restroom. It was very close to the beach and we were able to check in early.

Excellent customer service, cleanliness...not so m

I rented a 2 bedroom apartment for the weekend. The manager on duty was very kind and provided excellent service. Beds were very comfortable, upgraded tv's were nice, and plenty of room to relax.The cleanliness of the room could have been improved upon as there was grime around the bathtub, cobwebs in corners, crumbs and bugs in kitchen cabinets, mold on the ceiling, and some items in disrepair. The kitchen wasn't well stocked, but served it's purpose for what I needed. For the price, it was still a good deal. I always bring cleaning supplies while staying off, having worked in the vacation industry myself for 17 years. A good 45 minutes of cleaning and relaxed the rest of the time.

We had a wonderful time sitting and walking on the beach and walking to restaurants. Hotel staff was friendly and helpful.

Great hotel for the price.

This was my first trip to the outer banks. The room was not very large but it had a homey feeling. The staff was very friendly. The manger was very helpful with suggestions of activities and local cuisine. I'm looking forward to our next stay.

The staff were very friendly. Coffee available in the lobby. Standard room- refrig and microwave is small and turns off when switch by door is turned off. Needs better sign. Bathroom needs remodeling. Location great. For a quick and cheaper trip it is ok.

I booked a last minute getaway for myself and my kids. The hotel staff were all very friendly, kind, and efficient to help with any request. I booked a 2 bedroom apartment. It was spacious, there was a mini-kitchen to cook and store food. The while room was nice and clean when we arrived; the only part that bothered me was a couple of noticible stains on the comforters. Pros: Fridge to store food and beverage. Kitchen to cook in Ocean front for a short walk to the beach Walking distance to a good restaurant Short driving distance to shops TVs with cable in mainliving area and bedrooms Wifi Hot shower Tub for baths Cons: The extension cords everwhere were a huge saftey concern with young kids We were on the road side on the motel: lots of road noise Only 1 AC in the main room with little air flow to the bedrooms The comforters were noticiblily stained. The sink in the bathroom leaked; creating a smell in the room. Both were fixed quickly once reported to staff. (the hotel is older and repairs are to be expected; some concerns might not be noticed by staff; only by guests) It was good for the very low off season price. I booked hours before my stay and was able to get an ocean front hotel for a great price. I would not reccomend for families with young kids, but young couples traveling alone, or fishermen looking for a great little hotel to stay in this is the place.

Grate for the rate

Although the hotel was fine I had only one issue. Even though I placed the room with hotels.com I still had to give them a credit card and they charged me 50.00 bucks and put on hold. It's been a week and still haven't received money back. I can't afford to pay double for a stay
