The room was dark and the floor was filthy.

Location: It was close to the pier and we liked that even tho the fish were not biting.
The sheets appeared clean. We reserved a view but did not receive one. It took 5 minutes for the hot water to heat up. The only refreshment was a cup of coffee, we ate breakfast at the pier restaurant. It was not worth $270.00 for two nights. We will not stay there again.

It's an old Motel and its age shows, but if you don't need any frills and just need a place to sleep, this fits the bill. I say a great place to stay for fishing as it is beach front and right next to a pier.

Pros: Value, location, pool
Typical motel, excellent for a night's rest. Nice location, good food nearby, nice pool.

Good location for Nags Head and Outer Banks. Room was basic but comfortable, but the bathrooms are in need of a remodel.

The room was very small. It smelled musty. Bathtub had mold in it. Sink falling off the wall. Tile in bathroom was cracked. Disgusting! So very disappointed for $180 a night.

The staff was very friendly and helpful. The first room we were put in smelled like urine (we paid for the room with the kitchenette). We immediately went back to the office for a different room, which they gave us without any issues. The room didn't have a kitchenette, but at least it smelled better. The rooms are very small and outdated, and despite comments from the hotel on other review sites, the owner clearly doesn't invest in the hotel. I could have easily withstood everything else, but then we realized there were roaches. There were a lot of them. We only stayed there for 2 nights, but we paid almost $300 for this small room. You could not pay me to stay there again, and I'm pretty tolerant.
