Area is beautiful and this property was great for what we needed it for. We didn’t spend a lot of time in the room but the lady checking us in gave us the wrong room and charged us and the people ahead of us incorrectly. Caused all our card transaction to be cancelled, refunded, then recharged which had caused issues and I have yet to receive the refund but they sure got my payment. We enjoyed our stay overall just a few things from the lady at the desk that were frustrating.

The room was a little older and dated, needed a bit of maintenance and updating, but clean and convenient. Lobby was nice with snacks available and free hot chocolate and coffee. Close to highway so you can hear road noise. Room had a fan to drown out noise.

This is an older property and we were in the "loft" which has a kitchen as we requested. It has an A-line ceiling which is a little difficult for us tall people (husband and I are 6'4" and 5'10"). It has old-fashioned decor but has everything one needs, was very clean & comfortable. Keurig coffee & beverages in lobby, nice fire-pit & s'more makings available in evening.

Ouray is very expensive but we had a nice stay and they had a fire out back with individual bags for everyone to make a smore, that was a nice touch.

The perfect stay in Ouray! We loved being so close to town and were even able to walk down the river path behind the property to start the Perimeter Trail. Also an easy walk to the hot springs! Super charming lodge and very friendly staff! We loved the s’mores every night and can’t wait to stay here again during our next visit to town!

I made reservation through Expedia, pictures doesn’t match what you see in real. I was looking for kitchen in room. No kitchen at all, but it was on Expedia. Room looks like in Motel 6. And another thing, the price was so high, for what we got. So disappointed.

Timber ridge was conveniently located when you first enter Ouray. Parking was easy accessible and if lucky you can park right in front of your room. The rooms were clean and comfy. There is a riverside walk way located right being the building that can take you right to the Ouray Hot Springs which was very convenient and only a 9 min walk. And afterdark makes a great spot for star gazing. There is also a firepit that they ahve going every noght and they even had complimentary smores kits and blankets outside. Over all the staff was amazing and the lady at the front desk was so extremely sweet and gave lots of information to the travelers about the location and gow to maximize your stay!! Great place to stay we will definitely stay there in the future.

Fundamentally, a second rate motel charging Ritz Carlton prices. It becomes apparent why you only see the marquee in the photo. Interior remodeling work was a hack job. Towels could serve as SOS pads. No elevators, so have fun climbing a long flight of steps with your luggage. Would recommend staying at another facility.
