Country living with all necessities
Things have changed since I was last here , rooms are still good, they have upgraded their breakfast and the amount of choice is excellent,quality is good ,the grounds have been meticulously kept neat and tidy ,it’s a perfect place if you have kids to be free and play , such a treat to see the animals and wild animals that are close by,we really enjoyed our stay ,we were not affected by loadshedding-generator onsite

Weekend stay overiin nature
What a lovely place! In between the mountains surrounded by nature. Hostess was extremely friendly, helpful and knowledgeable about the surroundings and attractions. We stayed in the comfort room with a queen bed which was perfect for a one night stay. The pool was a nice add on and we didn't have any issues with the wifi. Breakfast buffet had many options to choose from and was delicious.

A must stay for your next visit to Oudtshoorn!
Wonderful stay in beautiful surroundings and the owners and staff was very friendly and helpful. Very comfy bed in nice clean and airy room and their buffet breakfast is legendary! Can highly recommend them!

A safe piece of paradise
What a lovely surprise this place was . Very welcoming and friendly. The restaurant was great and the breakfast was very good . A great spot to stay , very safe with extremely helpful staff .

We booked late but were given an upgrade to a lovely room with a kitchen and patio. It was well looked after, clean and comfortable at a very good price. We certainly got value for money and had a quiet relaxing evening as well!

Our room was comfortable and the restaurant serving dinner was very good. We enjoyed the pool and the buffet breakfast was fine. We would definitely stay here again.

Good value accomodation in peaceful countryside
This is is a large, well-kept property with various rooms types in a number of blocks. The grounds are beautifully kept and we enjoyed walking around and seeing the young ostriches. Parking is good. Wifi was a bit hit and miss. Breakfast was good value ( included in our room rate) but these days it would seem reasonable to have some rolls or bread to help yourself to. A member of staff was in charge of the toaster and there was only sliced bread on offer. Also, the hot food included fried or scrambled eggs which were ready in advance, nicer if they could have been cooked to order. Overall, a reasonable variety for breakfast though. Did not like seeing the caged parrot at all, not sure of the story as to why they have it, I did ask but was just told they treat it well and it is a pet. I appreciate that this is my personal view and others might not have a problem with a captive bird.

The family run lodge is on the road from Oudtshoorn to the Kango Caves and Swartberg Pass. Our room was spacious and clean, it had a well-equipped kitchenette, lounge and veranda with BBQ area. Good value! Country location.

One of the most beautiful places situated in the most picturesque of scenes, and close to all points of interest. It was safe, very clean, and there was everything you might need or expect on a holiday, to be honest facilities were overall excellent. The staff were lovely and never hesitated to help wherever they could. The food was divine and we were spoiled for choice. A great holiday made even better by staying at the right place, and I have already booked next year's holiday with the family :-) Will highly recommend to all good people that love good things. Delightful family run complex
This is a lovely place to stay if you are returning from the garden route back to Cape Town via the very interesting inland route 62. It is located in a very quiet and scenic setting approximately half way between Outshorn and Cango Caves. The units are spacious, very clean and comfortable. Great breakfast.

We stayed one night and wished we had time for more. The location is beautiful and the grounds were immaculate. This was our halfway point on our trip back to Port Elizabeth from Cape Town.

Het was heel algemeen. Tussen mooie natuur. Loslopende dieren op het terrein maakte het extra leuk. Het enige wat je zeker niet mag vergeten is een spray tegen muggen want mijn benen stonden vol na het buiten eten in het restaurant.

Excelente estadia
A piscina estava excelente, o pequeno almoço incluído era muito bom, fizeram-nos um duplo upgrade gratuito e o staff muito amigável e prestável. O único senão eram as águas para beber que tinham um sabor estranho e parecia pouco higiénica e o wi-fi no quarto não funcionava bem.

Cango Cave
Einfache Unterkunft auf einer Straußenfarm. Umgebung sehr ländlich. Sehr gutes Restaurant, wo man auch einheimisches Wild essen kann. Bei unsere Ankunft sind gerade ca. 50 Küken geschlüpft. Vorsicht vor dem dortigen Trinkwasser, ist für unsere Mägen nicht unbedingt geeignet !!!

Super Unterkunft in toller Lage.
Die Unterbringung war sehr gut, die Räume waren groß, sogar eine Terasse war dabei. Alles war sauber und hat uns gefallen. Das Frühstück war ebenfalls sehr gut und das Abendessen im Resatuarant (Straußensteak) war fantastisch. Gerne würden wir hier wieder buchen und können es nur empfehlen, da die Unterkunft auch sehr zentral gelegen ist und man viele Attraktivitäten wie z.B. die Straußenfarm oder die Tropfsteinhöhlen gut erreichen kann. Auch die nahe gelegene Cango Wildlife Ranch oder die Buffalo Ranch sind von hier in kurzer Zeit erreichbar.
