I had a lovely well appointed and clean one bedroom apartment. Everything was great. Wry convenient central location, waking distance to a lot of landmarks, shops and restaurants.

This was my first experience with this chain. Overall I really enjoyed it, large room, great location, clean, well stocked with supplies. The reception people were very friendly and helpful. Two things needed to be addressed. One the TV wasn't working, I did bring this up and they were super helpful The second was that I don't think the air was working in my room. I didn't bring this to their attention though as it wasn't the worst but was hot overall.

The unit was large, loved the kitchen. The only thing I didn't like was the bedding. It was clean but not comfortable. I will definitely stay there again. It was very affordable.

Location was great and the property has everything we needed. It could benefit from some soundproofing but since the building was quiet at night it wasn’t an issue for us.

Simple booking and check in. Personnel were very friendly and helpful. Accomodations were clean, well equipped and comfortable. Only request would be towel hooks in bathroom so towels can be used second time but that is hardly a complaint.

First time staying at a Sonder property. As a solo female traveler, the apartment/suite was safe, quiet, well furnished and very comfortable. There was a lot of amenities on site (gym was great, laundry was a nice surprise) and off site (shopping, groceries, great coffee and restaurants all within 5-10 minutes walking distance). The staff was responsive and helpful if and when I needed anything. Wifi was a bit spotty on couple of days, but all in all highly recommend Sonder for business or solo travel. Might not have enough amenities for families with little kids or for folks who don’t want to cook on vacation!

All in all I was reasonably happy with my experience at Sonder Rideau. The staff were extremely pleasant and the place was quite nice with a great location and price. The 2 areas for improvement I would have are 1) The parking lot was tough to navigate and the instructions in the Sonders app as well as on the machine weren't very helpful. Clearer instructions on parking and better signage would be nice. 2) The app was a bit challenging to use and I was a tad annoyed with having to do a lot of extra confirmations with regards to reserving, checking in and checking out. All in all again I'm reasonably happy with my stay and I'd like to see those areas worked on for an even better customer experience.

We have stayed at this property a number of times over the last year. Parking in the building is convenient. Love the no contact check in. The suites are large and very clean, beds comfortable and bedding is luxurious. The only complaint is the poor temperature control and the HVAC blasts like a jet engine when it’s on. The windows do open so that helps cool overheated rooms and staff were quickly responsive to turn off baseboard heaters on the last visit.

So this was probably the more expensive hotels i stayed in over 80 a night, my expectations coming in here was that i get what i paid for, did i? No. Not even sandals to wear inside the cold cold floors and dont even get me started on the freezing showers that my mom had to take. Their main advertising is that they have a table tennis and basketball. I was sold i really wanted to play… until you actually get there, the basketball net is like 8ft tall… their a multi BILLION dollar and they dont invest into a basketball they slapped me in the face with a ball that you get from the dollar store for 2$?!!! This is insane. Did i mention the TV doesnt work. Their refunding and changing policy i really respect that but they didnt even give me the a chance to even get a credit of one of the days i couldnt even stay there… They want money for literally everything its insane

We visited this property last year as well and loved it. Checks in are like a walk in the park. The rooms are spacious, clean and the kitchen has all the basics such as cutlery, plates, kettle and so on and it’s walkable distance to byward market and restaurants.

We can get everything needed in the suite for the stay. The kitchen and items are the gems! Suite is spacious, clean and nice. Even the sofa bed is comfortable. The only area reduced the point is the parking. Need to be super caution to get in and out -- very easy to get damage to your car. But that is the normal downtown underground parking. Can't really complaint about this... Overall, this is the great place and even the picky wife is happy with my decision!

Easy parking and self check in. Nice to have a full size kitchen. Our room was quite cold when we checked in as the windows had been left open. We didn't check in till after 11 pm and it was in the - 20's C outside. The ventilation fan never went off when set on auto so it was quite noisy at night.

We really enjoyed our stay here. The location was convenient and walkable to the Parliament buildings and the ByWard market. We appreciated having a full kitchen in our room too. The only downside was noise. The door didn’t block out noise from the hallway well. Luckily our neighbours were quiet. The room also came with earplugs, probably for this reason. We will probably stay here again next time we’re in Ottawa though.

Building entry, lobby were very nice. Safe, clean, easy access. The room was large, bed was big and comfortable. Living area was very nice. The kitchen was very small, but had more than I needed. Coffee selection was also great.
