Assortment with breakfast is great. The staff is very nice but they barely speak English. The hotel rooms are not as advertised on Expedia, they don’t have rooms with 2 double beds, are very outdated and there is no airconditioning at this hotel.We didn’t receive VIP benefits. There is no parking available for hotel guests, only the city garage (15euros per night).
Good location close to the city, and friendly staff. We got an upgrade to the executive room. The room was huge (bathroom too), but the bed was too soft and bouncy, and there were no coffee making facilities. For the money they charge, i’d expect that at the very least.
Lovely stay! Polite & helpful reception who upgraded us due to a large wedding event. —great location for walking to interesting landmarks and cozy restaurants. We will return!
Good location. Checkin was smooth despite last min booking. Staff helpful & cheerful from reception to restaurant, including the Chef prepping the yummy eggs & waffles station. Breakfast selection extensive.

The Steigenberger Remarque was easy to access with the car, yet absolutely centrally located. It appears to have undergone a recent renovation and offered complimentary wifi in the rooms, and fruit and flavored water at the reception. An interesting option that the restaurant offered was the possibility to buy suggested wines at regular market price to take away.

Classy hotel with pleasant lobby. Comfortable and clean rooms. I had a nice view on the small garden at the backside of the hotel. The hotel also has a good restaurant. Great choice for breakfast.

Stay here for the Christmas Markets
Nice location and a good size of guest room but only one pillow each plus a pretty useless mini pillow! Also the bath towels are a bit thin for this standard of hotel. It’s a pity because the bathroom shower was excellent.

No aircon?
Unfortunately, there was no airconditioning in the room and one could not open the windows as there are bats flying around. a pity as their breakfast is excellent and people are friendly.

Good location
Hotel is fine but nothing special. Rooms are a bit dated. Our room smelled a bit stale like old cigarettes. Really good location, and the bar was good.

Disgraceful service, that involved denying guests access to the bar because the staff were having a party. No WiFi as promised and redicilous parking charges..the attitude of the staff was unbelievable. No paying customer was going to spoil their Xmas party for any money.

Reception first look you up and down and then ask if they can help - not very friendly
Internet very cumbersome- and frustrating to use, requiring the code to be re- entered each time you left the hotel or didn't use it for a while
No tea or coffee making in the room.
Very sparse offering in the bathroom- it's usual to see a few small tubes of shampoo or cream, a shower cap etc - here just a sign saying you can get them from reception- what a hassle - makes the hotel look money grabbing and mean
