There was a long black hair on the bed, not sure if it was staff or previous guest. The place under the bed was not cleaned at all, seemed like weeks old dirt and dust. Unfortunate for the hotel, everything else was great, staff is friendly, food is tasty.

I only needed to stay here because it was close to the airport and I had an early flight the next morning. I got to the hotel around 1130pm very tired. When I got to my room it was very cold. I tried to turn up the heat but after 2 hours it never warmed up, so I bundled up in scarf, wool socks, and fleece PJs and went to bed around 2am. I woke early in the morning and it was too hot. It was also a handicap room. I did not request one. They never asked me if I wanted one, nor did they tell me that was the type of room I was getting. I found out once I got to my room. I had a meeting to do on my computer, so I did not have time to go back down. Once the meeting was over, I was too tired to deal with changing room because of the cold. It was just one night. So I passed out. In the morning I did tell them at the front desk of the problems. They offered me points for my inconvenience.

The hotel is approximately 7-8 minutes walk from the Oslo airport arrival and departure halls. The Radisson brand never fails when it comes to ambience, comfort and updated room design and modern styling. Understandably, checking-in is always a complicated process of waiting in a long queue because of the brand’s popularity to frequent travellers and conference organisers. The upgrade to a family room made our stay like we were sleeping on cloud 9 with so much space to move, large en-suite and king-sized bed laid over with soft feather pillows and duvet. The breakfast was ample and a variety of cold and hot meal options were available. It just ended too early at 930am for an airport hotel. I highly recommend this hotel for a short stay particularly when you need to pace your travel itinerary and slow down a little bit after experiencing manic states of excitement with the wanderlust in you. The airport transfers between Oslo Lufthavn and Oslo S may get a bit too expensive with Flytoget trains (currently 230 NOK one-way) and even with the state-owned VY trains. As such, it may be more affordable and practical booking accommodation around the city centre than staying in an airport hotel for the entire duration of your trip.

This was a short one-night stay for an early flight the next morning. The room was clean, no complaints at all. However, the mini-fridge had been removed and not replaced and the receptacles/light on one side of the bed didn't work. Minor inconveniences and not enough to ruin the stay, would likely stay again due to the close proximity to the airport (5 min walk through a covered walkway). It's just obvious that the hotel is so large and busy that things get easily overlooked.

Needed somewhere to stay during overnight connection on a business trip; this was perfect (easy to walk to, plenty of staff during late night check in and early morning check out, very clean and tidy, with an iron and ironing board in the room!)

The booking did not make clear that we were in radisson red. So we went to the blu first. A bit annoying.

NOT AIRPORT CONVENIENT
The hotel is located a long 10 minute walk from the terminal but most of the way is covered. Not very convenient with lots of luggage but no shuttle service. Building and grounds are very nice. The roooms are small for two people. The bathroom is okay except the shower door which lets water get everywhere. Breakfast is very good. Dinner options are very limited.

First and foremost the thermostat is not adjustable so prepare for a night without blankets. The shower was ridiculously small with no way to shut the door so water splashed everywhere. Do not and I repeat DO NOT eat at the hotel restaurant unless it’s the breakfast buffet, I ordered the steak for dinner which was terrible over cooked and the worst cut Iv ever had in a restaurant with absolutely no seasoning. The only two plus were that they had a gym and were close to the airport but extremely overpriced for only that.
