Whilst this hotel is fairly new, clean and modern, it is right in the Dotombori nightclub hub of Osaka. It was very loud every night, all night long. When we stepped out in the morning, most clubs were still going. This may not bother others but it wasn’t for us.
We booked a room with a queen sized bed and got a room with two singles shoved together. The bed and pillows were incredibly uncomfortable and the room was tiny (but this is quite typical of big city hotel rooms in Japan). The TV did not have English channels nor any streaming services or screen sharing functions, we wished we’d brought our Chromecast. The hotel had free, password protected wifi.
Check in was quick and easy and staff were polite and prompt. We were charged an additional fee of 100¥ per person per night upon check-in. There were facilities (laundromat) on the 8th floor which was great and there is a 7 Eleven next door which was very convenient - their range of instant ramen was next level!
The hotel is a ten minute walk from any train station, so be prepared for a battle to get your luggage to/from the train through hoards of pedestrians on the streets.
Our room was cleaned the first night upon request, but not the following two nights, despite us leaving the door hanger requesting fresh towels and an emptied bin.
If we were to return to Osaka, we would stay near Namba Train Station, which is much quieter, close to the train, and a cleaner/nicer area, just ten minutes’ walk from this location.
