Wonderful hotel
Was very surprised, from the time we arrived we were upgraded to a larger room.Roberta at the front desk is amazing always smiling and eager to make your stay pleasant as possible.The day before we left she helped us find a transfer from Orvieto to Silvi about 3hours away. Roberta booked it for us. The night before we left came back from dinner to find a nice bottle of wine in our room from the staff thanking us for our stay.just steps from everything you want to do.

I only stayed in this hotel one night but will definitely stay there again. Its right in the centre of Orvieto and close to all the places of interest as well as some great restaurants and bars and shops.

One of the Loveliest places in Italy.
Was a pleasant surprise in the very touristy areas we have been in. Orvieto is a gorgeous hill top town with less tourist traps than most cities. Feels like "True" Italy. everyone in town were so helpful. Loved how easy it was to get to the upper city from train to finicular to top.

Advertising is incorrect.
We are a family of 5 requesting appropriate room and beds. We emailed 6 months in advance and were told that it was arranged. We called two days prior and were told to not worry. Everything was arranged. We arrived to find out that the room could only hold 4 people and my husband was given a separate room that smelled of smoke and was not prepared for his arrival. The AC did not work. The internet does not reach the hotel room and is only available in the lobby. The overall condition of the room was clean but tired for a 4 star rating. It really is a 2 star hotel.

You could not find a better location in Orvieto. The hotel was charming and the staff were helpful and courteous.

Wonderful Hotel in Charming Town
Wonderful hotel in a lovely setting. The room was delightful, small but perfectly formed and the bed (memory foam) was comfort personified! All very clean, especially the bathroom. The staff were very helpful, spoke good English and made a great recommendation to a local restaurant, which was superb. Nice breakfast, and superb service from the owners. We will be back soon!

Lovely location in the heart of Orvieto
I already stayed in Orvieto in the past, and this is for me the best accomodation. Elegant, comfortable, convenient, and silent. The staff was always helpful and polite. I could even notice a nice conference room at the first floor. My only comment regards the parking service, which was inicially adviced without specifying the additional 10€ fee - just for one night. But maybe I was inattentive by myself, and I did not understand.

GREAT LOCATION... EVERYTHING ELSE NOT SO MUCH
The only reason I would recommend this hotel is because of its location. Our room was not clean and the staff were unfriendly. Breakfast was not very good.

Classic Hotel
Beautiful classic hotel, the breakfast room is absolutely amazing. The rooms have older styling but the whole village is old so that's expected, although the room is just as clean as any other 4 star hotel. Very pleasant stay.

Fairly nice but very limited storage space.
The hotel itself was quite nice and the location was good. The staff (especially Roberta) were helpful, the breakfast was excellent, with fresh breads and pastries from a shop down the street and very good fruit. My main problem was with the room, which was described as a double. The clothes closet was tiny (with 3 hangers) and there was no space to put 2 suitcases. My partner took the folding case stand and essentially worked out of that and I got a few things in the closet. I resorted to moving the tiny TV to the floor beside the desk and putting my case on the tiny desk. The bed was fine, but with the usual Italian concrete slabs for pillows. The WiFi was a pain. They used a system that assigned gobbledegook a user name and password that took minutes to enter and that would only work on one machine. I occasionally had to request a new one, also. How valuable is WiFi that it has to be protected like state secrets?

Great Hotel with perfect location
Stayed one night on way from FCO to Pienza. Lots of terrific restaurants and shopping just outside your door. Quiet location. Nice breakfast.

Inexpensive clean hotel
The hotel was located in a nice area of Orvieto. It was a short walk to the shops, restaurants, and the Duomo. We dropped our bags at the hotel and then drove back around the city to the parking on a lower level that had escalators going back up the hill. (The parking cost for one night for our roller skate car was 12 euros which had to be paid upon exiting in euros.) The hotel was small and the room was cramped. The two twin beds pushed together were just okay on the comfort level scale. We had to walk up 3 stairs from the elevator on the third floor to our room level and then had to walk up another three stairs inside our bedroom up to the bathroom which was a little scary in the dark! The shower was cruise ship sized and the bathroom had a small sink. On the upside, the staff was friendly and nice and the room was very clean. The hotel was very quiet at night. The breakfast room was very pretty, complete with white tablecloths. The complementary buffet was adequate. This was the least expensive hotel that we stayed in on our two week trip to Italy; however, we would probably stay in a different property on our next trip.

Excellent option in a town with limited hotels
This town has limited options for decent hotels, and this hotel was just great. Off the main street by less than a block, which keeps the noise levels down.

Alloggio in palazzo storico
Struttura in posizione perfetta per visitare il centro storico con accesso comodo all'autovettura e parcheggio. Camera confortevole e spazi comuni abbelliti dalle decorazioni originali del palazzo d'epoca. Personale estremamente accogliente e preparato. Unico appunto all'applicazione Hotels.com la mancata precisazione del prezzo aggiuntivo per il parcheggio.

hotel a due stelle scarse
l'hotel si trova nel centro storico, all'arrivo era privo di parcheggio, nonostante avessi chiamato prima della prenotazione ed avuto rassicurazioni in tal senso. Il parcheggio piu vicino si trova ad un KM. Dietro insistenze ci hanno consentito di parcheggiare in un luogo di fortuna, avvertendoci che alle 8 di mattia dovevamo sloggiare. Mentre facevano colazione siamo stati piu volte sollecitati ad andare via e liberare il parcheggio di fortuna (????). Albergo storico obsoleto, la stanza arredata con mobili di fortuna, cattivo odore nella stanza, per non parlare della colazione povera e scarna. l'unica cosa da 4 stelle era il prezzo una brutta esperienza.

Die Lage direkt in der Altstadt ist ein wahres Luxus. Betten sehr bequem, neue Matratzen in der guten Qualität.

좋은 위치, 친절한 직원
위치가 좋았습니다. 두오모와는 멀지만, 비교적 중심가로 돌아다니기 편한 위치였고, 주변에 맛있는 식당들도 있어서 찾기 쉬웠습니다. 화장실도 깔끔했고, 조식도 괜찮은 편입니다. 직원분들이 친절해서 좋았습니다.

Molto deludente rispetto a foto e aspettative
La prenotazione specificava "Stanza di 180 mq con balcone e vista sulla città". Peccato che l'albergo non ha né stanze col balcone (a parte una al piano terra, francamente orribile) né tantomeno alcuna vista sulla città). All'arrivo ci avevano collocato in una stanza francamente minuscola e con un terrificante letto con placca di legno sotto un materasso sottilissimo. Spaventoso. A fronte delle mie rimostranze, la signora peraltro molto cortese riesce all'ultimo momento (prima dell'arrivo degli assegnatari originali) a scambiare la stanza con un'altra migliore ma ovviamente senza alcun panorama e balcone. Letto eccessivamente morbido, ma forse la colpa è nostra, erano anni che non dormivo sulle vecchie reti a molle. Bagno discreto, per il resto tutto lontanissimo da quello che ci si potrebbe immaginare per un 4 stelle.

camere fatiscenti, con tre scalini da scendere per potervi accedere. Riscaldamento inesistente: un generatore di aria calda del 1960 circa rumorosissimo e inefficiente. Un quattro stelle equivalente a 1- 2 stelle. Parcheggio inesistente, personale freddo e impersonale. Colazione: la sola cosa discreta!

Något dyrare men bara ganska lite lyx
Hotellet ligger väldigt fint inne i centro storico och har dessutom en egen parkering där man kan stå mot en avgift. Lobbyn, receptionen och frukostsalen var väldigt fina och mysiga, men rummet kändes inte så speciellt. Frukosten var fin och varierad med italienska mått mätt, men totalt sett kändes priset för hotellet lite väl högt. Mervärdet för de extra pengarna jämfört med andra hotell i området kändes inte så stort.

Wspaniała okolica i miasteczko. Dojazd do hotelu OK. Niestety klimatyzacja jest mało wydajna i w nocy lepiej otworzyć okno niż z niej korzystać. Hotel powinien to poprawić lub nie informować, że ma klimatyzację.

L'errore c'è stato ed è stato rimborsato senza costi o perdita di tempo, in ogni caso non dipende solo da noi, cosi come non dipende da noi la scelta del pagamento. Si paga in anticipo per avere una sconto, ma è una decisione del cliente.
