Just Gross

Posted 23-Aug-2015
I can't decide what was worse about our four bedroom town home; the absolute filthy conditions or the cockroaches. Even after the exterminator sprayed we found two more LIVE roaches. I wouldn't recommend this place to anyone. There are much nicer places to stay that are closer to the attractions! The pool area is small and unsupervised and the cleaning fee is a joke that they want you to pay upfront, along with a 12.95US daily "resort" fee and a 150$ deposit (just in case you damage anything...there were holes in the wall of one of the bedrooms when we got there among other things). I have included photos of the first "clean" home we were checked into!!

Seems good value for money

Posted 04-Aug-2015
Tad disappointed with Regal Palms. On the plus side it seemed good value fro money at time of the booking but upon check in you are charged for a resort fee of around $12 per night to pay for pool etc and then a further $78 for accomm to be cleaned which I thought was a bit Ryanairish [if there is such a word]. The accomm is described as luxury but it is far from it. Its all rather dated and needs some money thrown at the whole complex. On the plus side it is around 25 mins from Disney.

I was not aware that the housekeeping fee of $60 was for the room being cleaned after check-out. We did not have fresh bedding and towels each day. We had to wash our own towels at night. They did not even provide toilet paper. We had to go to the supermarket to buy some. We had to pay an additional $60 yo use the pool! At least the A/C worked and we had hot water for showers.

Nice home

Posted 15-Jul-2015
The home was nice and clean but on our fourth day we saw two cockroaches and a dead one in the kitchen light totally grossed me out Pool was nice but it not supervised at all so kids are running and jumping and going down water slide more than one at a time. We did enjoy our stay here though staff was great abd friendly just can't stand the bugs. Yuck

Not what i was expecting

Posted 14-Jul-2015
Pros: proximity to amusement parks, ease of access major theme parks.
Cons: Please make sure deep cleaning is performed.. you cant miss the mold in the bathrooms and the carpet smell.
Location: Multiple attractions and theme parks are accessible within a 20 minute drive
Stayed at this place with my wife and kids. The town home was roomy and it looked good from the outside. Unfortunately we found a massive roach during our second night and also found mold in the bathrooms. There was an odd smell emanating from the carpets and the tvs look like there were bought at a pawnshop very poor image quality. I tried to vent my frustration to the front desk but i was told i had to call another number. I dont like to get the run around just to get someone to fix simple issues. i decided to no say anything but instead vent my frustrations here.

Old and run down

Posted 30-Jun-2015
Pros: BBQ grills
Cons: Too much to mention
Location: Nothing near by....
The four bedroom town home was just really old, run down, stained carpet, broken dryer, bugs, EXTREMELY HARD BEDS, tiny living and dining area, lacking basic necessities, old shaggy couches, small over crowded pool.. etc.. The pictures are very deceiving, and the facility is way over priced for the accommodations provided. Plus there are "cleaning fees," as it wasn't exactly "clean" when my family arrived. I would not stay there again.. Beware

Good choice for the family

Posted 16-Jun-2015
Pros: The house was comfortable and spacious.
Cons: Check in was slow.
Location: The accommodation is conveniently located for Disney. Universal Studios is a little further, but still less than an hour.
We visited Florida for three weeks and did not want to stay with our family in a one room apartment. Regal Palms proved to be a good choice. Close enough to the attractions and theme parks to allow you to get the most out of the days (30 minutes to Disney car parks and 45 to Universal), whilst offering quite and comfortable accommodation to allow some normality for a family with young children.

Best Stay

Posted 10-Jun-2015
I Loved my stay at this resort, I'll most def visit again. Although we spent most of days at the parks. I really wished we had more time at the resort. Everybody was friendly, the townhouse was clean, and the kids activities was amazing!

uncomfortable, broken furniture, drive to pool

Posted 10-Jun-2015
Pros: The price was extremely affordable for a 3 bedroom unit with a kitchen.
Cons: Furniture needs updating, especially mattresses and garbage cans need cleaned out.
Location: Was close to a Publix but 25 to 35 minutes from SeaWorld.
Master bed held up with bricks, 2nd bed was hollow with no support from mattress, 3rd bedroom beds smelled of urine, we had to drive to the pool which was much smaller than pictures made it appear, garbage cans full of flies, not enough towels for showers.
