OK for the money

Posted 27-Feb-2017
Pros: price
Cons: carpeting..it is outdated.
Location: it is right by the exit..
My daughter has a 2-day volleyball tournament at the Orlando Sports Center. We booked a week before the event so most of the nearest hotels to the event (3-mile radius) were almost booked and whatever was available cost more than a hundred bucks a night. Since we only needed a place to sleep (we checked in late at night and check out very early), I wanted a hotel less than 80 bucks per night. This hotel came up to my search list. The location is feasible from the OSC. We did not hit any traffic congestion. When you walk to the aisle, you can tell that the carpeting is outdated and has a mildew smell. The room is clean and outdated. The bed is soft and clean, which what really matters to me most. The towels and toiletries are OK. There is no room service, but some nearby restaurants deliver (Chinese, Italian, etc). You get what you pay for. But then again, I do not mind going back there should the need arise.

Not at all what I expected

Posted 22-Feb-2017
The pool area was closed the entire time and there was an opossum living in it, which I was told was fine because it was friendly. The air conditioning in the work out area wasn't working so it was dangerously hot to use the equipment. My final straw was that the internet router for my room was missing, so I had to spend significant time at a McDonald's in order to access the Internet.

Avoid this place at all costs

Posted 18-Feb-2017
Pros: It looks good from the outside
Cons: It should be demolished and rebuilt.
Location: If you have friends in the nearby jail, it is convenient. If you are a prostitute or drug dealer it is probably your type of place.
Tepid hot water, old beds, hotel seems like it should be torn down. Very dated, and beat. The room smelled of cigarettes, moldy, musty. The TV is DirectTV, but there is no guide - but there are very few channels anyway - maybe 10 or so. No standard networks channels - just CNN, a weather channel and some Spanish channels. I think only about 10 rooms were rented when I was there - I got the feeling the place was abandoned. Very spooky and eerie. Avoid this place. Better to sleep in the Greyhound station.

Cons: Of so many things, an inspector of the Hotel that supports it and one of Health should visit him and make a rigorous inspection.
Location: Acceptable, very good location and that is why it is a shame to see that Hotel in those conditions.
So many cheap hotels that I have visited and this has been the most appalling stay of my life.I have clear photos of a few shortcomings of so many that have. The pool facilities dirty, they said they would come the next day to clean it and never did. An insertable Jacuzzi,Bathtubs with fungus, And much more that it would take me 2 pages to describe all the deficiencies of it.The worst that I recommend this Hotel to 3 Families and when we arrived at the Hotel everyone who was responsible was to me.

Ok for the price

Posted 13-Feb-2017
Cons: The hotel needs maintenance.
I rated the hotel Ok because it was for $50 a night. You can't expect much at this price point. If you just need a cheap place to stay for a night it isn't bad.

I called First and they said they have new remodeled rooms… Not even close! The place was filthy and loud. Overall the place is falling apart. Not even basic maintenance was being done. Never stay there again.

I wish I had a better time

Posted 10-Feb-2017
I booked the ramada on Expedia. On Expedia it said free breakfast when I got to the hotel it wasnt, I thought I could pay cash for my room and when I got there I couldn't, when we finally got a room the keys didn't work so we had to go back down stairs. When we woke up that morning there were roaches everywhere; by the microwave, on the walls, on my son's shoes that were under the bed, it was pretty nasty. The front desk staff was all over the place so yeah I wish me and my family had a better time .

Renovierbedürftiges Hotel mit gutem Personal

Posted 31-Jan-2017
