Budget friendly hotel that covers the basics
It is probably one of the most budget-friendly hotels in the Disney area but it was still more than sufficient to provide a solid Disney experience. The staff was warm and friendly; the rooms were clean and comfortable, and there was a shuttle that ran every 30 minutes to the Disney parks (and back).
Some downsides that are worth mentioning - the shuttle to the Disney parks stops at 3-4 other hotels before going to the park, and the same goes for the way back. Not a big problem but the ride takes about 20 minutes which can be cumbersome. I would end up taking Uber or Lyft on my way back after a long day at the park.
The rooms although comfy had some issues. The heating was not working properly, luckily the Florida weather was warm enough but it got a little chilly at night and some heating would have been nice.
The breakfast buffet was expensive and not that great. It came about to 40 dollars for two people table-side service, but it was a minimal breakfast that would usually be a standard free breakfast at most other hotels outside Disney.
Luckily there are a number of other food places within a 10 minute walking distance and we ended up getting our food from elsewhere. I had a particularly good experience at the Uno Pizzeria and Grill in the area, also within distance are iHop, Denny's, Red Lobster and some fast food joints.
The fitness room had some free weight dumbells (up to 30 pounds) which was nice.
