"We had such a wonderful time in Aruba. The property was awesome. Location was great for getting around, close to the local bus line. The room was clean and had everything we needed. Loved the pool area, the 4th floor deck, the people working at the property. They were helpful, friendly, wonderful. I can't say enough about how much we enjoyed our stay. "We stayed here five nights for our girls/sisters trip.The room was very nice,the bed was very comfortable and the staff were really friendly and nice.This place is very close to the beaches and the airport.There's a pool inside your suite and also a common one.The price was very reasonable. The only suggestion we have is to equip the room and the kitchen with some paper towel rolls,facial tissues and toilet rolls.But overall everything was wonderful and would stay here again if we come back. "

"I really enjoyed my stay at Victoria City Hotel and wouldn't hesitate to recommend it to others with the following information: Location: Victoria City is a little ways out of Oranjestad in an area that looks a little bit run down. There are great restaurants very close (Peanuts), but overall you probably won't be spending a ton of time right nearby. The street is lively and as other reviews mention there will be overnight noise from cars and a local nightlife spot. Room: Small, but clean with a comfy bed, full bathroom and everything you need to be comfortable. Property: The rooftop lounge is amazing and the 2nd floor is setup to easily flow from inside to outside. This area was well used by guests and is a great spot to make yourself a tea or coffee, grab some water and hang out to plan your day or relax after a day of exploring. The hotel is laid out with rooms on 2 floors and is connected to a restaurant from the lobby. I recommend the restaurant for breakfast - its a great meal and they have friendly staff! To note: I saw this in some of the other reviews as well; for some reason the bathroom windows have clips installed that will not allow them to fully close and be sealed shut. I assume this is to help with moisture management. I was on the 2nd floor so this wasn't a security concern for me, I saw some people on the first floor mentioning windows that couldn't close/lock and this would be a security deal breaker for me and also affected overnight street noise."
