Fourth of July weekend

Super cute house with great seating both indoors and outdoors for groups. Love the pool. The part of the lake this house sits on isn’t swimmable and is more swampy so having the pool was great. Plenty of towels/blankets. Check in was easy and the fire pit was great. Plenty of space for parking and sits on a quiet street so not a ton of noise from neighbors.

Nice house, beds comfortable. Great bathroom amount. kitchen floor was dirty and sticky upon arrival, countertops had coffee grinds, and patio had grass all over. We weren’t able to get early check in of any kind, so it was a little frustrating that these areas weren’t even cleaned. We had to clean and sweep all this when we arrived. Communication from host very poor. The phone number shared on the instructions didn’t even go directly to her. Check in instructions were not at all personalized to the house, aside from door code. For ex: washcloths weren’t included, and that wasn’t shared, but linens were included, so clarity would’ve been nice. WiFi code not provided in house or in arrival instructions. I’ve rented many times in Lake Anna, and this was the poorest communication experience. Pool was good, hot tub didn’t work. Lake very swampy, but we were able to canoe in other areas. Lake definitely portrayed much better in listing and pictures, than actuality.
