RESORT FEEL

Posted 29-Jul-2016
Pros: pool and lobby are beautiful
Cons: flooring
Location: right across from orange county airport and near south coast plaza
This hotel has a resort feel to it. The rooms are not new but the bed was comfortable and the room was large. It had a silly 3/4 size bathtub but it worked. The grounds are beautiful with a poolside bar and cabanas. This is where they shine. The lobby is also quite nice with a serine atmosphere.

Great Pool Area

Posted 29-Jul-2016
Stayed just one night due to a change in travel schedule. Hotel is nice overall but the pool area is Beautiful and a great place to sit and relax. Ample parking (although not free) and a great location are definately pros. Probably would recommend to a friend or family member.

One of our favorite hotels in Orange County. The staff is very nice and the atmosphere is the perfect lounge. The pool area, the palms, clean and well maintained. We come back whenever we can. The music is always just perfect!

Okay, except for the ants

Posted 20-Jul-2016
This hotel was huge, and difficult for us to navigate, especially after long day on the road. There were ants in bathroom and on carpet which definitely affected our stay and comfort! We reported to the front desk the morning we discovered them. They said they would come treat them...we assume they did when we were out, but they never confirmed that with us.

Fine hotel close to airport

Posted 16-Jul-2016
Great location opposite airport. Hotel shuttle bus available from 5am which was perfect for us. Hotel bedroom small and dark. It felt quite stuffy. Thankfully pool and bar areas are really nice. The restaurant wasn't open when we were there. Food was ok at pool side but one of our meals didn't arrive for a good 15min after the others which was disappointing.

Nice pool area

Posted 13-Jul-2016
Pros: The pool area is very nice.
Cons: Update first floor rooms!
Location: Perfect location for visiting the local beaches!
First day there had ants in the bathroom. Told front desk staff and they said they would take care of it. Second day ants in the bathroom were gone but they moved into the bedroom area instead. They were all over the wall and the table between the beds. Went back to the front desk to notify them again and they very graciously offered us a new room for the remainder of our stay. It was a pain to have to move all of our stuff but we were willing to do anything to get away from the ants. The room with the ants was on the first floor overlooking the pool. We were moved to the third floor which was so much better. First floor rooms seem to be older/outdated and in definite need of a face lift. Third floor room was much nicer. If we come back to this hotel we will definitely only stay in a third floor room.

Airport location

Pros: Close to airport
Cons: Rooms could be cleaner and they smelled.
The rooms were not very clean and very musty, dank smelling.

Nice hotel across the street from the airport.

Nice hotel. Parking is free for only first two hours, after that its $12, so once you check in and if you plan on going back out you better make sure you leave out before the free two-hour time limit is up or you will pay $12, because once you leave then come back for the night and leave in the morning you have to pay another $12. Their isnt any shopping or alot of restaurants within walking distance. Theirs no mini bar or fridge in the standard rooms, im not sure about the suites.
