Old and Disorganized

Posted 13-Oct-2016
Pros: The food was pretty good once you actually got it
Cons: Service. Disorganized
Location: Directly across from SNA John Wayne airport
If you are looking to save money, this one is OK. If you expect your stay to be hassle free and smooth, this is not the place. It is very old and dated. But, what makes it unpleasant is that it is disorganized. There is no room service. I found this out after looking for some time for the room service menu in my room. The front desk tried to give me a long list of reasons why management chose to not offer it despite the fact that they have a restaurant that actually has pretty decent food. So, you have to leave your room, find someone around the bar, I was told, to order food. Go back to your room, and then after a while you go back to see if it is ready.. Very inefficient. There is no such thing as calling the restaurant to order, as they not once answered their phone. Then finally, after a long day I ordered a vodka soda.....a mixed drink at the pool bar. I first asked the price...She said $7.00. When I got the bill, it was $11.50.. I told her that the charge was incorrect. Here response, literally "you ordered a vodka and a soda. The vodka is $7 and the soda water is $3.50". I tried to explain to her that is not how one buys a mixed drink, so rather than try to understand, she wanted to argue with me" That was it. I canceled the rest of my nights and moved to a normal hotel.

Roach in room, unexpected charges

Posted 10-Oct-2016
Pros: The bed was very comfortable, very comfortable pillows, the poolside was very nice resort like except for no jacuzzi, safe area, close to airport,
Cons: huge roach in room! charges for everything! High price Charges for Self Parking, fridge, microwave, breakfast charge(not even continental at least) ev
Location: Nearby is John Wayne Airport
Overall disappointing. Room price was high and on top of that the multiple unexpected additional fees for everything that should be included was ridiculous. And the outside of the hotel looks amazing, but once inside the halls and the rooms it was very disappointing. The room had a roach, the room was very old the fixtures and furniture old and worn. The bathroom old and uncomfortable, tiny old shower with faulty faucets. Charged Hilton prices but represented an old underprivileged motel room.

Quick stop kinda place

Posted 10-Oct-2016
The one thing that was grear was suprisingly the bed and the pillows! Other than that shower was tiny and not very good at all. Very close to everything...beach is nearby and freeways are close....

Never again would I stay in such an inhospitable

Posted 08-Oct-2016
Pros: Bartender
Cons: Everything
Terrible front desk personel, the staff just ignore any guest. You literally had to wave to get the attention of the front desk. I must say the only one person that was great and helpful was the Philippino bar tender out by the pool. I give him an A+ alone. Otherwise I would have vacated the hotel due to lack if hospitality. Rundown 70s hotel

Posted 06-Oct-2016
Location: Airport down the street and a convenience store within walking distance.
The hotel looks luxurious from the outside but it's rundown and old on the inside. The original room that we were given had ants so we had to switch rooms. The tv didn't work but the room was ok. The hotel needs to renovate and update the rooms. It's ok if you want a retro environment but not worth the price.

No parking and charged overnight fee for car

Posted 03-Oct-2016
The hotel failed to tell us there was an event going on site... They had us pay a overnight fee for my car, and as we drove back there ... Cars were everywhere in spots along the fire lane parked in middle of road and had to attempt a u turn and hit one of there polls causing a horrible dent in my bumper and cracked my light as well be go to the office and all they did was offer a breakfast voucher which means nothing didn't even apologies ... This was one of the most horrible stays

I had a nice stay here, although the breakfast wasn't that great. Room was nice, bed was super comfortable. Would stay there again.
