We have rented many townhouses and condos. This was the most disappointing rental that we've ever had. Location of 1504A was great; the view from the 15th floor was fantastic; but the fact that the washing machine was inoperable for 3 days was not good. We checked in on Saturday and a new washer was installed on Tuesday. With only 4 bath towels per bathroom, we found ourselves having to use towels multiple times. This condo owner needs to provide more bath towels. Also, I like to cook at least one meal each day and I found the pots and pans worn out and flimsy. This owner should stock this condo with better cooking utensils. And we didn't know that Summer House was under renovation. If we had know that, we would have cancelled. Navigating from the condo to the beach was a daily issue. ##### David B. Climbing 15 flights of stairs wasnt in my vacation plans! Unit is ok but VERY dated and balcony is enclosed as seen in pictures but worth noting that there is not a balcony. You get what you pay for - there is a reason this one is less than the others. No sheets or extra blankets for the pull out couch. Yet lots of extra condo junk in the closets....yet ZERO additional amenities like detergent, basic spices, etc. Some rentals leave this stuff for others but this one does not, cleaned out except for the random junk and stained pillows. ##### Jennifer G. I have to start by saying that we have rented 100's of properties using other sites and this was our first with Vacasa and they were absolutely the BEST of them all. Very on the ball with checking in on us and giving updated information. That said....the condo itself was less than stellar. We have rented other units in this building and they were great but this one was dated, strangely decorated for a beach location, and lacked quite a few common items that we needed. (like a spoon to stir a pot...there was not one spoon in that kitchen...we had to use a spatula) The beds were very uncomfortable, the kitchen lacked quite a few basic items for cooking, the coffee maker was the $5 special that didn't work well and there were no beach items to be found anywhere. We will definitely come back to Summer House but not in this unit. The owners definitely need to spend some of the rent money on upgrading the place! Disposal didn't work, lights over kitchen counter didn't work. We FINALLY figured out how to get the dryer to work - after 4 attempts! My daughter's feet were black from walking on tile inside condo. (pretty sure it hadn't been mopped). Tub in front bath barely drains. Furniture, decor and fixtures are out of style and date. The TV was leveled and propped up with a book and placemats. The refrigerator was not very cold either. Kitchen has bare minimum pots & pans. If you plan on serving a large meal or hosting - bring your own! The view was outstanding, and the air worked well - so thank God for that! ##### Valerie G. No balcony but we did not mind. The condo was clean although our check-in was delayed as it was not ready and cleaning crew was still there till about 5.30-6pm. But we rather wait for the condo to be clean then not so we did not mind too much. Cleaning crew was nice and courteous. The rooms were comfortable and everything was nice. However, the condo had the bare minimum of supplies and we had to purchase more items than we have at other rentals. Also we had some issues with WiFi password which we figured out on our own. The appliances in the kitchen all worked but definitely the unit (esp the kitchen) needs some updating. Overall, I think the view and its location on the beautiful beach make up for anything lacking in the unit and we tremendously enjoyed our stay. The sofa bed was extremely uncomfortable. One could feel the springs into their back. The master shower had a very strange setup. We had to step over the toilet to enter/exit the shower. Despite being set on the highest setting, the refrigerator did not keep our items cold; therefore, most items were put in the freezer. Recommend Turnkey does a better job listing NO balcony in their rental description. Initially, we were under the impression their was a balcony until I called it was confirmed no balcony. By that time, it was too late to cancel my reservation. We recommend this property, not the unit. Very clean and nice access to beach the indoor pool was nice for the winter months and very warm. Condo was nice with three bedrooms and very nice furniture only drawback was there was no balcony but since the weather was cool it was nice to be able to sit inside in chairs that looked out on the ocean and watch the waves and dolphins play you could open the floor to ceiling window a little so you could hear the wavesAll in all a nice vacation home.
