Welcome to Unexcused Absences, a stunning Orange Beach vacation home located in the brand-new idyllic Summer Salt community. Professionally managed by Kaiser Vacation Rentals, Unexcused Absences welcomes you with immaculately designed interiors and scenic views of the Gulf State Park Wetlands.  
  
Offering 3 bedrooms and 4 full bathrooms, this Orange Beach vacation home can comfortably sleep up to 10 guests. Unexcused Absences' features include a fully appointed kitchen and expansive living room seating to accommodate the whole family. Plus, with family time in mind, there are additional seating areas outside on the deck and underneath the home where there is an outdoor shower. What's more, the Summer Salt community offers even more family-friendly amenities, including a zero-entry community pool, fire pit, and putting green only steps away from Unexcused Absences. At the entrance to the Summer Salt community are multiple local businesses, such as Beachside Mini Golf, Doc's Seafood and Steak, Ruby Slipper Café, and Live Bait.  
  
Unexcused Absences is located just blocks away from the Gulf of Mexico and white sand beaches. Beach access is located nearby at the Romar Beach access point, less than 1 mile away.  
  
Upon entry to the main floor of Unexcused Absences, guests are greeted by an open-concept living room, dining room, and kitchen with access to the deck with beautiful wetlands views, plus a laundry room and full bathroom right off the living room. There is also a sleeper sofa in the living room, books, board games, and an echo dot for music. Upstairs includes 3 bedrooms and 3 bathrooms. Beyond the family-friendly floor plan, this Orange Beach vacation home offers comfortable indoor and outdoor seating for every guest, plus generous flat-screen TVs in the main living area and every bedroom. This home is equipped with four bicycles, perfect for exploring the Back Country Trails.  
  
Kaiser Vacation Rentals practices †Enhanced Cleaning Protocol which includes a complete linen turn-over after every guest. Winter monthly guests are welcome. Unexcused Absences is best booked directly through our website. This home can accommodate up to 3 vehicles in the carport.   
  
Unexcused Absences at Summer Salt also offers an electric vehicle charging station. Guests under 25 must be accompanied by an adult over the age of 25 throughout their stay. Pets are unfortunately not welcome at this property. Smoking is strictly forbidden.

#### Family Vacation 

The location and the views were amazing! The neighborhood was great, the vibe was great! The rental had everything we could imagine and more. There was something for everyone to enjoy. My fiancé and I enjoyed sitting on our balcony with a cold drink or coffee, my 18 year old daughter and her friend enjoyed the bikes that were available to check out the beach or nearby souvenir shops and my 11 year old loved the pool and bike (even though we did bring our own,but preferred the 10 sped). We will definitely be planning a trip back next year!

Summer Salt is a beautiful neighborhood conveniently located. The house itself is amazing. The door code only works part of the time. Getting in late one evening with tired kids, my husband had to scale the balcony to let us in. The code was correct, it just didn’t always work. Everything was very clean inside except for the couch slipcover. The reason for the low stars had everything to do with Kaiser - the rental company in charge of this VRBO. They were very hard to get in touch with after hours. We were there the week of July 4th. While there, the main attraction for the neighborhood- the zero gravity pool, the fire pit gathering spot and the little putting course were padlocked and closed for the majority of our stay. It was incredibly disappointing not to be able to swim on our vacation- bc the jellyfish were horrible in the gulf- we counted on the pool. Lots of very disappointed families. When we asked Kaiser what they could do to compensate us for not being able to access the main amenities, their answer was that the HOA were the ones that made decisions to open/close them and we were out of luck. WARNING!!!Before booking here, inquire whether or not you can access the pool area. If they cannot assure you, consider booking elsewhere. July in Alabama is too hot to not be able to swim.
