Excellent stay! Great in the winter time, and the rooftop bar is the cherry on top! Only critique - the rooms are much smaller than the pictures show. Would stay again, will be staying again this time next year!

This property was very nice and I thought the remodel work was excellently done, well thought out. The staff was very pleasant and the language was no problem for an English speaker like myself. The breakfast was very good and many tasty options. The room we had was small but very well designed to provide all we needed and the beds were Very comfortable. One added bonus during our stay was the rushing water(lots of rain) coming right down next to the building, it was amazing. A wonderful place, well worth the money!!

Such a nice hotel. Newly renovated with small but comfortable rooms. Lots of nice decorative touches. Friendly staff and convenient location near main shopping area.

Lovely establishment with very helpful and responsive staff. Rooms were clean and cozy, luggage storage was available, and the breakfast was very tasty! Also loved the mojitos. My boyfriend and I are already planning on staying again at some point. Thank you!

Small but very comfortable rooms with nice beds, excellent bath products, and nice amenities. The breakfast is good, though I wish there had been more gluten-free options. One odd thing: There are no electronic key cards. The key is an actual key and it's attached to the most enormous, heavy stone keychain I have ever seen. Kind of awkward to carry around.

Our hotel used to be a mill, so that is why our keys are attached to a mill stone. No doubt are they heavy to carry around, so we usually recommend leaving them in the reception when you go out.We hope to see you again, and you are welcome back at Aksjemøllen at any time.

Very interesting and quaint property in the old mill. Stunning setting with a creek running below. Nice room but very small bathroom. We enjoyed our stay and would return.

Very central, excellent hotel.
Fabulous hotel. Very friendly staff, rooms were extremely comfortable, excellent bedding. Ensuite bathroom very clean and great toiletries. Lots of nice touches with coffee machine. Excellent breakfast. Hôtel in the centre of town with lots of good restaurants and bars. Very modern hotel in great location.

Overpriced and very small room/bed
The building of the hotel is really nice and the location is awesome, but… the room was dark and small and the bed was hardly big enough for two. No air condition so it was really warm. It was possible to open the window to get fresh air, but the sound from the river outside was too loud. I feel this was overpriced and I’m not coming back.

First trip to Norway
Really pleasant stay for my first visit to Norway. Close enough to ski at Kvitfjell. Comfortable room and great breakfast. Close to downtown to walk to. Would definitely stay here again.

Not your average rectangle box
Funky hotel in an old mill. Rooms are "cozy" but well maintained and ours at least had interesting view and was quiet. Close to several restaurants but the attached eatery where breakfast was served was as good as any. A bit of a walk to some major attractions but we had car and so could get to main sites. Highly recommend nearby open air folk museum with quite a number of old buildings.

Nice hotel in the center of town.
Nice hotel one block from pedestrian street with shops, cafes and restaurants. The hotel was very nice, room a little small but well organized. There is a nice bar on the roof. We didn't eat in the restaurant.

A weekend getaway in Lillehammer
A weekend in the wilderness with my Norwegian gf and this place was lovely! Tiny rooms and a shower that flooded the bathroom, but still I rate it 5 out of 5 for the warmth & helpfulness of the staff, the cuteness and quaintness of the hotel overall, the location and the views from the Toppen bar!

Lovely hotel, great location.
Lovely hotel and having the argon restaurant attached was really handy with kids. Great location and a nice hotel. We had a large room with plenty of room for the extra bed. My only slight moan would be that they had really cheap toilet paper and it made me wonder what else they had saved money on but a very minor issue.

We needed to make a change and the staff were incredibly accommodating and gave us a better solution than we had imagined. They set us up with a very comfortable adjoining rooms. Molla is an old hotel that has made the switch to a modern hotel without losing the charm

Definitely the best hotel in Lillehammer!
Very nice, friendly and polite staff. I had a lovely room with a good view. I slept better than I had done for weeks. Breakfast was good, and the staff in the restaurant was nice, polite and helpful as well. I normally do not find inland Norwegians particularly polite and they sometimes may seem a bit cold or 'unfriendly'. But this experience was on the contrary, and I will recommend this hotel to anyone going to Lillehammer. It's great value for the money!

Great stay in Norway
Just a one night stay, booked at short notice gave a better price. Second time to stay here, and it is one of the best options in Lillehammer - I very much recommend it for proximity to the centre and good comfort (and breakfast).

Beautiful, Quaint and Accomodating
The hotel was beautiful. It was very rustic and traditional like much a Lillehammer is. It was clean and very comfortable. I stayed in multiple hotels in Lillehammer and this was my favorite one by far. The staff was incredibly friendly and more than accommodating. I would absolutely recommend this to anyone looking for accomdations in Lillehammer.
