Lillehammer
Great stay, decided to stay here instead of Olso Airport, will do this again. Train to the airport from Lillehammer. Lillehammer was lovely and even gave the streets a covering of snow. As we are from Australia we loved this. Hotel staff very helpful, found plenty of places for lunch and dinner. Nice to walk around the central area

Old hotel, elevator and stairs required to get to the room. Room was spacious, beds were comfortable, surrounding area has not much going on after 8pm. Bathrooms tubs/shower is terrible, water leaking and coming out. Could be very slippery get in and out of shower tub.

We stayed here one night on a driving trip from Oslo and it was a great hotel and location with available, free parking. It's a charming hotel, with a parlor for coffee and tea and a very nice dining room that served a delicious breakfast. It was just a couple blocks from the Storgata shopping area, and also to the start of a beautiful hike to the Olympic ski site. The Maihaugen Museum was a little further but also walkable.

This place was nothing like the description/ pictures. The beds took up most of the room and I had to turn sideways to get past them the condition of the hotel in general was deplorable. Best way to describe the hotel is that it’s a dump.

The location is perfect, one block from the train station and in the heart of the quaint shopping zone with coffee shops and restaurants. Our room was cozy and clean and the bed was exceptionally comfortable. The staff are excellent, helpful, and friendly. They helped us navigate the bus to the ski trails and helped us contact the airline for our lost luggage. Would definitely stay again!!

The hotel is very dated which is charming! The carpet in my room was stained and worn bare so the hotel just needs a bit of an update

This is a beautiful old hotel just two blocks from the main shopping street. Lillehammer is a great town to visit. The complimentary breakfast was huge and outstanding. Front office staff was informative and welcoming.

Great Lillehammer hotel
I did not have high expectations for this place, but I thought it was great. But my boyfriend also proposed to me in this hotel while we were there, so there’s that. Even before he proposed I kept saying how glad I was that we were staying there and that the room was very clean, bed was comfortable, and the gentleman who checked us in recommended a cute little place for lunch that we loved. And the woman working the evening shift was so helpful and accommodating. Also, the morning breakfast was SO delicious. The rooms are very basic - but I really care that it’s clean and comfortable - and this filled both of those boxes. Would absolutely stay here again.
