"The house was pristinely clean, more than accommodating and any communication was answered promptly. We were pulling a 20’ enclosed trailer and they even stopped by the next morning to let us know we could use the yard if we needed to when turning around. The food from your farm left for us to cook was phenomenal and an over the top perk!!! Would definitely stay again. Thank you!"

"This is a great place to go and really get away from everything. It was a quiet and peaceful stay. The nearest gas station or restaurants were about 30-35 minutes away because the road is so winding leading up to the resort. The staff was super nice and always helpful. We were disappointed in was the conditions of the hiking trails. They are not kept clear and had many fallen trees on the trails we had to hike straight up mountains to get around. Also, the campus and hiking trails could both use more signs. There is no lodge sign at the lodge or any signs on the trails. This would've been appreciated as we ended up taking the wrong way on one of the trails from trying to guess which direction to go. Besides that, we very much appreciated it was pet friendly. Although charging an extra fee so you can hang out with your fur baby is just a scam in this country. The property grounds were well taken care of and clean. Nice pool. But goodluck actually seeing the lake from your balcony, there is a line of trees by the lake that block the entire view. That was also disappointing. Overall, this was a great state park and we would return if they would take better care of the hiking trails."

"Our stay in the SoulShine cabin was just what we needed to rest, recharge, and enjoy family (we live 600 miles apart and travel to meet each summer)! The peaceful and beautiful porches were used to enjoy family chats over coffee without distractions. Kids could play yard games and run around. In the evenings we enjoyed s'mores around the fire pit. The hot tub was the perfect temperature to relax in. The inside had all the accommodations we needed, including beds for each person to have their own (9 people stay). The kitchen had room for us to make breakfast and dinner each day and enough place settings to dine together, and play board/card games. We encountered one issue while there, and the response was immediate. We had gone hiking for the day and when we came back there was a gas smell in the cabin (fireplace). Somehow the gas logs were turned on. We opened the windows and doors to ventilate and maintenence came out within the hour to turn off the gas and check the home. It was all good!The cabin and accommodations were great! The outdoor activities in the area were a fun bonus! We thoroughly enjoyed our time together! Thank you!"
