The air conditioning was turned off & would not turn on! It was 28c in our room! It was horrible! The staff brought us a fan & suggested we open the window which did not help! Could not do my hair or makeup, husband had to keep his shirt off otherwise it would be drenched in sweat! All night we had the window open & couldn’t sleep because of the drunk people in front of hotel yelling. Was nauseous, dizzy & tears with the heat in the morning trying to pack up our stuff & get out of this awful hotel.

Nice hotel
I had booked this hotel specifically because it has a spa. I was disappointed to find out at check-in the spa would be closed for renovation the duration of my stay. Hotels.Com or the hotel should advise when booking is made if hotel facilities will be closed. The hotel in general is good it is nicely positioned directly opposite the beach. I was upgraded to a sea view room at check-in by Rossi who was a delight to deal with. The standard of cleanliness was high and my room was comfortable however the food served in the buffet restaurant was average bland with very few authentic Spanish dishes served.

All of the staff were amazing; reception couldn’t be more professional, approachable and helpful, cleaning staff friendly and bar/restaurant team efficient with great service, thank you. It was a very busy weekend in Gandia but we never felt like anything we asked for or needed was any trouble, super relaxing. We will definitely go back to Gandia and will absolutely stay at this lovely hotel. Thank you for a fabulous stay.

What I liked was the entrance, the great pool area, view of the sea. What I didn't like was the awkward shape of the room, that made it difficult to move around. My husband literally didn't fit on the toilet (he's broadshouldered and about 1,80 m high, not huge or anything like that). What I also didn't like was the lack of service - both at the pool area and the terrace overlooking the pool. It was basically non existent. What was also unfortunate, was that 'snacks' couldn't be ordered after 3 PM it seems (I tried and they said we couldn't).

Excellent stay and hotel was very clean. Only negative aspect was the bar staff / waiters etc were very slow in attending to your requests in the lounge. Check in facilities were excellent and very efficient.

Pleasant stay
It was a very nice hotel, amenities were good and the pools had easy access for the less mobile appreciated. The staff were very pleasant and helpful. The menu was varied and well presented though at times not not enough. Disabled parking was available but at a cost. It was disappointing that you had no facilities for lunch snacks at the pool bar.

Being that it was Oct., it was a pleasing temp and not very crowded. The food was very good. Dinner was lovely sitting out on the patio. The front desk gave us a cold bottle of water for our trip home.

Great hotel by the beach
Wonderful location! The room is spacious as are the balconies. I had to clean the bathroom floor of quite a few black hair on arrival. Onsite parking needs to be reserved in advance. Nice amenities on the ground with different pools and pool bar. Breakfast was busy but great selection.

Never Again!
It's very much a resort hotel, with a LOUD DJ, a live singer, screaming kids, pool activites. Don't come here to chill out. Very nice staff, but terrible service, because it's very under-staffed. Two bartenders for the whole terrace and huge bar! They couldn't cope! Excellent buffet breakfast though.

Lovely hotel on the sea front with clean rooms
A lovely hotel with a sea front location. We opted for a sea view larger room which was fabulous. The bed was amazingly comfortable and the room very clean. The only little moans I have is the food isn't very warm and for some reason only 3 coffee pods were in the room for 2 people, we used 2 the first day and they were not replaced. Also, the coffee water container was grubby at the bottom so we had to clean it before using it. Only small things but it's about the attention to detail. The hygiene procedures put in place for Covid were very good and we saw lots of cleaning taking place so it felt a very safe place to be. Reception staff were very friendly. Would certainly visit again.

Totally inadequate AC in room
Everything was superb, except the AC, which couldn’t reduce the temp in the room below 30.7C. Ruined everything else. No fix, no discount. There will also be no return trip. Photo was taken when we left the room to check-out
This is as cold as the AC could get.

Beautiful hotel, located very nicely on the beach, and wonderful buffets— get full board — you won’t be disappointed! It is mostly dedicated to locals and the information about the resort activities in English was not available, but the staff were willing to help and translate. Excellent place to relax with your family.

RH BAYREN Hotel
Everything was great. Steps from the beach, shops and restaurants. The breakfast buffet was unbelievable; and I thought the buffets in Vegas were big!! This one was wonderful!! This hotel has been there for decades; I always look in the "Guia de Hoteles" the Spanish government printed back in the 80's as a reference guide before going online; gives me a bit of comfort for what it's worth.

Great hotel in a great location!
Really nice hotel with fantastic access to the beach! All the staff were very friendly and eager to help. The buffet was very good, though a little lacking with the veggie options. And perhaps a little more effort could have been made with the cleanliness of the rooms. But other than that we had a wonderful stay and are looking forward to visiting again soon!

The best stay in a hotel we have had
This is an amazing hotel/spa. Very very clean, very comfortable bed and room, excellent lounge area, absolutely brilliant buffet breakfas with everything you could wish for. This hotel is right on the beach with plenty of parking. Will definantely be booking there again
