"We recently stayed at Baymont by Wyndham Coeur D’Alene and unfortunately had a disappointing experience. The hotel did not feel clean overall. The floors and carpets were dirty, and the room did not appear to be properly maintained before our arrival. We also did not have enough toilet paper or towels in the room, which was inconvenient and frustrating.
In addition, the customer service was not very helpful or welcoming when we brought up concerns. We understand hotels can get busy, but basic cleanliness and guest support should still be a priority.
The location is convenient, but the condition of the hotel and the service did not meet our expectations. I hope management takes these issues seriously and improves the experience for future guests."
"Let's start with the staff, Meredith and Shanna. When you are greeted by these 2 smiling ladies it's a warm cozy way to start our Memorial day weekend. Meredith was so VERY accommodating. She got us into our room promptly and we actually had plenty of time later to explore Wallace and go on a short bicycle ride.
The newly remodeled rooms were clean and have a 1950s/1960s retro vintage Americana decor. Now here's something so special and comfortable that we're thinking of getting them for our own home, GoldiLUX Premium Mattress. My gosh we slept so great on this bed. I'll stay here anytime I'm even close in the area. They have a firepit, hammocks for 2 between a few trees, just cozy ❤️
Since it's in the downtown area, no need to drive anywhere. Everything is within walking distance and it's nice when you need a break, come back for a little nap then head out again. There's only been a few that has ever impressed me with, charm, comfort, value and convenience and the Stardust Motel is in the top.
If I was forced to say anything negative, it would be that they don't have breakfast, BUT they even made up for that. They have a on site food trailer with some of the best Crêpes to get your day started. Huevos Rancheros Crepes, berries, banana & Nutella or peanut butter and several others to choose from.
I hope y'all give them a try and remember this review please."
"The room itself was very nice. The bed was super comfortable, the space was large, and the views were great — honestly more room than I even needed. I enjoy trying different places when I travel, and overall I enjoyed my stay.
A few things could definitely be improved though. It would help to have a much bigger sign or clearer instructions for check-in. I drove around the block a few times trying to figure out where to go. It would be helpful if they explained ahead of time that you drive into the parking garage, check in there, and then you’re set. I basically had to guess how the process worked.
I was also disappointed there was no pool, and having to pay an extra $25 to use the hot tub felt unnecessary — it would be nicer if that was just included for guests.
The staff mentioned they would notify me when the room was ready, but I never received a message. I also never received my emailed receipt. Overall though, the room itself was clean, comfortable, and had beautiful views."
Private lakeside A-frame cabin w/ hot tub, beach, docks, games... 4 season fun!
10/10 Excellent
"The glowing reviews for this rental didn’t mislead. The host, Brian, was the most communicative and thorough I have worked with. Very considerate, prompt, personable. This cabin is very small, but is somehow able to pack a ton of features into a hundred nooks and cozy corners. The best way to describe is like a Berenstain Bear’s house. Really fun personality and eclectic rustic and nostalgic art and decor. It is funky as opposed to high-end, but not at all like you’re roughing it.
We rented the bunk house as well. We ended up with 13 people and we were all very comfortable. The two couches in the living room are not actually futons, but trundle daybeds, so you are sleeping in actual mattresses and very comfy. I was surprised at how accommodating the sleeping was given the size. The bathroom is so tiny but somehow feels totally spacious (again, a magical Berenstain Bears type use of space) as does the loft area. Nice big window with lake view from there!
Fire pit is really spacious and has tons of seating. Large hot tub was really nice. Multiple outdoor tables and benches plus grill and smoker.
Lots of towels provided. Absolutely beautiful lake shore area with a smattering of paddle boards, kayaks, canoe, lounge chairs and really nice doc. The staircase leading down is actually like a lovely little steep hike with a stopping point you can sit and watch the sunset.
Note you do have to cross the road to get to the lake. The cabin is not actually up against the lake so be aware."
