The Rutland Arms Hotel, Bakewell, Derbyshire

The Rutland Arms Hotel, Bakewell, Derbyshire

8/10 Good
"Lovely hotel, fantastic location. Well decorated, comfy twin room but disappointingly, in the annex. Not in the main hotel. IMO, on the expensive side. £500 2 x nights, especially as it was 'room only'. Also, hardly any parking on site. Forced to park in public car park.My fault. Should have paid more attention when booking."

Knowsley Cottage - Central - Hot Tub - EV Charger

10/10 Excellent
"The stay was lovely. The property is located in an amazing place as everything you need is walking distance. A short drive under ten minutes takes you to very scenic hiking spots in the Peak District. The place itself was nice and clean. The hot tub was amazing for us all. It is advertised as a private hot tub and it is mostly, but you do have to walk outside of the house and past the neighbours (which is only a few steps) to get there. People could potentially walk by and see you through the little gate as well where the hot tub is inside but we found as it’s a quiet area we didn’t have this problem. Also, it shuts off from 10pm so the hot tub cannot be used after this time. We enjoyed the surroundings, and the nature. I would come back. I would say it’s more cost effective to go as a group as the price between two people would cost a lot. Also the complementaries and kitchen appliances made everything so great and convenience for us!! Went a weekend before my wedding and it was the perfect weekend for all of us girls."

Bakewell One Bedroom Cottage In A Peaceful Location With Parking Space.

10/10 Excellent
"Absolutely amazing. Felt like hime away from home. Liz has thought of everything to make her guests comfortable. We enjoyed being able to balance eating out with eating in, so many nice pubs and restaurants nearby. And walks! Were able to leave the cottage and do a circular walk to Monsal Viaduct and Wye through Little Longstone and Ashford in the Water; as well as take the bus to Chatsworth, Mam Tor, Matlock. All the bus stops are 5 min walk. And - other than those famous Bakewell Bells - everything is so quiet. Felt safe and comfortable the entire time. Would love to stay again."

"Wonderfully charming cottage. Very clean and comfortable and had everything you could possibly need. Kitchen was well equipped and the provided coffee and teabags were a welcome surprise. Great location in the center of Bakewell, just steps away from the shops and pubs. Even though central, it was lovely and quiet due to being on a dead end street with no through traffic. Owner was very friendly and extremely helpful. It was the perfect place for exploring the Peak District. We will definitely be back."

10/10 Excellent
"Lovely little cottage. Great residential neighbours. A very social garden, as everyone sits outside in the sun. Friendly local cat came & around every day. The kitchen is a bit awkward, as it's a squeeze around the table, but overall the cottage was well proportioned. It's over 4 floors, so lots of stairs, but we l8ved how quirky it was. My son (6yrs) immediately wanted to explore. The bedrooms were airy & spacious. A modern styled double bedroom with compact ensuite (with shower) in 2nd floor attic. 1st floor had a large twin room overlooking the gardens at the front, and the family bathroom with shower over bath was on same floor. Ground floor was kitchen & living room. Basement houses utility room and opens on to the small courtyard at rear. Easy walk to town (10 mins). Close to woodland (2 mins). Easy cut through down to a local park with playground (10 mins). It was a great base for the week."
