"The cottage was as advertised and it was really spacious. It had a games table with ping pong, air hockey, Poole etc which was a big hit with our 5 and 9 year olds but there was one big problem-it smelt really strongly of damp!! Although I didn't find any actual damp in the house. The owner put plug in air fresheners in and it smelt much better but the damage was done for me so we moved properties. "The communication from the hotel was excellent, and accessing the room later in the day via the key box was no problem at all. The location is great—just a short walk to the beach and shops. The room was clean, though definitely a bit tired. The carpets were grubby, and the wallpaper could use some attention. Still, for the price, it was perfectly adequate.
