The location of Halekulani Okinawa is outstanding and views from the hotel are gorgeous. It's not common in Japan to get such uninterrupted views of the ocean. The hotel itself is gorgeous and really a slice of Hawaii dropped into Okinawa. Our room was excellent, with great finishes and facilities, plus a gorgeous ocean view. Dining at the hotel is good though not cheap. The only thing missing is a simple coffee shop or store to buy simple snacks to avoid having to eat in the expensive hotel restaurants all the time.

Dining options were very disappointing, it seems like the hotel doesn`t have the capacity or put guests first for seating availability. Food was mediocre. Would expect more from a hotel of this level.
