The hotel is large, but well-maintained. The staff is very helpful and responsive. The only down side was waiting for the elevator at peak use times, because there were so many guests late March... The location is perfect, walking distance from the train station, and near downtown restaurants

I am surprised the hotel is so close to the local market which allows me to experience this wonderful and energized community of their daily. I strongly recommend walking the city and enjoying the uniqueness of Beppu city on foot.

The staff is excellent and helpful when checking in and out. However, there has been a huge improvement in cleanliness in the room utilities. Dirts are found in the washing basin. Quite a challenge for the elderly to walk from the station to the hotel.

Room is clean and staff is helpful, but the aircon in the room can only be set low/medium/high, our room is still hot even when set at high. The air con design is weird considering this is a hotspring hotel. Location: good, 5 mins walk from Beppu Station

Very small rooms; great buffet, but very crowded. Appears to be a major destination for Korean and Chinese tourists. Can walk to most areas of Beppu from this location.

Very comfortable beds and large room. The elevators were so slow and always full so you had to wait a long time to go anywhere. Check in was also really slow. We loved the outdoor bath but it was difficult to get there because the elevators took forever to come. Convenience store right across the road is helpful as the breakfast is quite expensive compared to other hotels. It is dated and seems like the operator is stuck in the bubble period. It needs to find a way to move into this century and make things run more smoothly and efficiently for people on time constraints or those of us traveling with kids. Check out was easy because we left at 8 rather than at the peak check out time of 10 to 11.

Beppu visit
Convenient location - close to the Beppu station. Onsen within hotel - easy access. Comfortable and spacious rooms. The 2 restaurants are also good - Italian and Japanese.

The hotel was so-so. The only reason we stayed there is because it’s near the rugby stadium. Most staffs don’t speak English.

Over-rated about walking distance between BEPPU station and the Hotel. And the tallest hotel in the BEPPU which cannot be seen from the Station. Only one small signage in the middle of walking route.

お世話になりました。 部屋の電気スタンドを移動したら、ワタボコリがでてきました。 他の客層は、アジア系の中国人、韓国人が多く、大声で喋るし、食事会場では横入りや二人掛席に友人を呼び真横に陣取って、迷惑などどこ吹く風。 浴場では、掛け湯せずに入浴、ロッカーまでスリッパを履いて、カミソリやブラシ取り放題好き放題。 何せ、声でかいしマナー悪い。 でも、料理は良かったです。

何日も使っていない部屋だとすぐに感じました。テーブル、トイレの蓋、棚など埃まみれでした。 風呂場の垢まみれで、不衛生で、大浴場にも行く気になれなかった。 また、喫煙ルームなのであれば余計に、空気清浄機などがあると良いと感じました。
