Great place to stay as a couple. Probably not one for families just because of the stairs to get there and back and smaller private terraces so not much space to allow kids to run around and also people go there for peace to avoid large families with kids (as I did!). It is quite a romantic setting and views are gorgeous.
Perfect boutique hotel. Even before we arrived they had been in touch with me asking pertinent questions about our preferences. Check in was very late, but Sasa took very good care of us. The mattress is arguably with the best I have ever slept on.
The next day, Liza was also exceptional in ensuring that we were well taken care of. Add to that the magnificent location, and the support of the remaining staff (George and Jenny), I guarantee to return to number 6 in the future.

The Katities Hotel has the perfect location at the beginning of the pedestrianised street in picturesque Oia - the views blew us away and we felt relaxed within minutes of arriving. Completely secluded but minutes from beautiful shops, cafes and restaurants. The rooms are clean, fresh and predominantly white with the most unbelievably comfortable beds for an amazing nights sleep. The staff at the hotel were all fantastic - charming, helpful, always on hand to help without being obtrusive. My 'Sun Touch' spa treatment was perfection (booking in advance advised). Three different restaurants offer different dining experiences with different views overlooking infinity pools and the breakfast offers anything you could want for. The concierge had great recommendations for excursions and restaurants, we returned each evening for expertly made cocktails made to your taste back at the hotel champagne bar. We loved our stay so much we rebooked for the same weekend for next year before we left. Early May has less tourists and a perfect temperature for us of around 25 degrees during the day. Thoroughly recommended.

We enjoyed our stay at Alexander's Boutique Hotel and the woman in the office was exceptional. The kitchen was equipped well enough that we were able to cook a few times and save on restaurant costs. The view and balcony was fabulous. Best of all, they served us breakfast on the balcony each day and provided bathrobes. Our room was a sea cave, extending back under the road,so you could hear the traffic. Like most accommodations in Oia, the location does not work well if you have mobility issues.

The hotel was beyond my expectations, the most breath taking views from our room and the attentive and friendly staff made our stay so pleasurable. The breakfasts were delicious as was the food in the restaurant.
A lot of steps to go up and down but worth it for one of the best views on the island
We have stayed in grander hotels and hipper hotels, more central hotels and exquisitely constructed hotels however we have never stayed in a hotel where we felt that leaving it for even a minute would rob us of precious time in the most beautiful and halcyon of places. Everything and everyone was wonderful, how could it be otherwise. The owners have ensured that nothing will spoil what is being offered here, the most spectacular view in the world.
It is expensive for its parts but the sum is a "must experience bargain."

Amazing hotel and views of the caldera. The staff couldn't do enough for us and made our honeymoon feel special. The breakfast every morning on our terrace was amazing. A short walk in to Oia means it's perfectly placed to feel close enough to the bars and resturants but also our own private retreat to relax. We both can't wait to come back and stay again.
With white cubic buildings and blue-domed churches carved into the rocks on a cliff top above the caldera, tiny Oia is Greece’s most photographed village. Its also Santorini’s most upmarket destination, with sophisticated boutique hotels, top-notch eateries and chic cocktail bars. Buses bring tourists from all over the island just to see Oia’s renowned sunsets. Thira is 12 kilometres away, or an unforgettable three-hour walk along the cliffs.
