"Not only is the hotel within walking distance of the JR station, but also a good portion of it is covered. Our family of four stayed in a Comfort Twin Room and it was very spacious in Japan's standard. There was a couch in addition to the two beds as well as a proper office desk. There are also nice touches such as a portion of the bathroom mirror being heated so it doesn't get fogged up. Overall, I highly recommend this hotel."

"5 minute walk from Akita station, there are plenty of food options around and shopping malls nearby to do souvenir shopping. Plenty of attractions nearby like the park opposite and the Akita Inu station behind. The onsen on the top floor was also enjoyable, and had free dessert right outside. There's also free noodles at night for supper. Great place to stay for day trips from Akita."

"Hotel was very accommodative of our request for an extra rollaway bed and the room was very large. The only thing to note is that there is no parking onsite and the laundry charges are charged per piece (as opposed to a simple coin laundry). The hotel is very near to food and shopping options and is essentially in the heart of the city. Other than that, we had a very comfortable stay and would definitely book again if given the chance. "
