My stay did not start out well, but it quickly got better as the week went on. I was told upon my late evening check in that I could not have the suite room I had reserved, it was not available. The following day the manager called and explained about mechanical failure that had occurred in the room do to an exceptionally cold period in the region. To make up for my disappointment, they gave me a reduced room rate, and a discount on all services offered by the hotel. I found this to be quite acceptable. The service and cleanliness was top notch and the restaurant was quaint and cosy, with great service and exceptional food. Everyone I had to interface with spoke an acceptable level of English and were very accommodating to my requests. I cannot comment on the pool area amenities, as was winter when I visited, but I am looking forward to a return visit in warmer weather to enjoy the pool facilities and terrace area.
