Nice hotel,staff, but parking and breakfast high
excellent location--parking tight and overpriced. Breakfast has come w/rm for past ten years, but now costs $20 pp. Bar and lounge nice w/excellent service and staff.

I stayed for one night here without breakfast as I was on my way to Frankfurt Airport Area. The room did not have fridge but could not get any ice from reception. The room was great. My problem was with the car park, it had steel plates in the driveway which has no meaning or value . These steel plates are irritating .They can also damage your car if it is low level car.

Hotel pleasant and great for a one night stay. Right in town centre. Heppenheim wortha walk around. Front desk was extremely helpful with a number of things. Breakfast good. If you're passing through then it ticks the boxes.

Hotel was fine. Stayed 3 nights over weekend. It was very busy, had to wait for table at breakfast which had good selection of food and drink. Room was quite big but so hot at night and then too noisy with windows open. A kettle in the room would be great or at least a bottle of water. Very noisy guests in corridor late at night. Did not like the red walls everywhere, not very conducive to good nights sleep in bedroom! I’ve stayed at other hotels in the area, usually smaller but with nicer ambience. Staff very nice, friendly and polite

Nice central place to stay. Prices are great the hotel was very clean. And staff very friendly. Breakfast which was included in the price was excellent and parking fees were also a great price! Loved Heppenheim .... Beautiful little town and wish we had more time there!

comfortable hotel near the altstadt
spent much time in the altstadt, pleasant open air wine and beer cafes, small cafe and patio at hotel, room comfortable w/ ac, only small snag was room construction from us from 10 am to 6 pm

Hotel was nice, Staff very friendly and accommodating, Breakfast was fantastic (buffet style, perfect). Downside to hotel was no cafe, food, other than for breakfast (which was fantastic). Local Italian place was super good, location was wonderful, locals were all friendly. We selected hotel online based on decent price and dog friendly, and we were happy overall with hotel and would stay there again. Just a shame guest cant have lunch or dinner at hotel. We were pleased that the hotel had smoking rooms available, which made our stay even better, plus they had a smoking area just outside on nice small patio. Good place to stay !!

This was a business trip, there were no tea/coffee making facilities and also the mini fridge was empty - sometimes it's the little things that count. If you are looking for a single stay it is fine but wouldn't want to stay much longer..

Sixth visit
This was our sixth visit and the hotel didn't disappoint. We always enjoy visiting Heppenheim. It's beautiful and the people are friendly. Neighbouring towns such as Bensheim, Weinheim and Lampertheim are worth a visit, as is the Odenwald with gems such as Erbach and Michelstadt less than an hour away.

Gay Friendly
Very nice hotel, and very open to the Gay community. Everything is decorated in the Gay colors, so you can't miss it. Hotel service was nice. Trails for walking the dog is only a few minutes by foot. Internet service only available in the lobby area, and it cost about $20 per day. Did not eat there, so I can't rate the food. Very clean and well maintained hotel.

Good base for a visit to the Bergstrasse.
This was our fifth stay in this hotel and standards have been maintained. The hotel was undergoing painting work in the lobby but this was done very unobtrusively. We stayed 'room only' and took breakfast in a café in the old town. Our room overlooked the main street but was very quiet and had a superb view of the Starkenburg. The staff are efficient and business-like. Free Wi-fi is available in the lobby and downstairs corridor but the signal in the bedrooms was weak. One thing we missed was a room safe. This should be a feature of all Park Inn hotels. The location of this hotel is excellent - right by the Altstadt. In fact, the rear door of the hotel leads into one of the old streets and the charming buildings.

convenient for our visit to Worms
We were in a large comfortable airy room which looked out to a steep terraced cultivated hill. This turned out to be vineyards and we were amazed that people never mind tractors etc. could work on the slopes. Staff were extremely helpful and in the evening directed us towards a nearby restaurant, but before reaching it we found ourselves in the middle of the annual wine festival (end June). Neither of us drink but there were plenty of food stalls and we enjoyed the friendly atmosphere. Heppenheim itself is a beautiful old town with a wonderful square. Breakfast had a small selection of hot food as well as a good selection of cold items. If you had the patience you could get fresh orange juice by squeezing the fruit yourself. There is plenty of underground parking, (to be paid for) with a lift to reception and all floors. Overall we were very satisfied and if in the area again would not hesitate in booking the Park Inn.

Hotel in der Altstadt Heppenheim
The hotel is very well situated on a busy road but this is quiet in the evenings. If you come by car, there is short stay 'unloading' parking at the front of the hotel off the street. The hotel has a garage but I did not use it. An attractive aspect of this hotel is that there is a back entrance which gives access to Heppenheim's Altstadt, a series of narrow streets, half timbered houses and the beautiful Marktplatz. Across the road at the front are the premises of a wine producer, and behind this is the Starkenburg, the iconic hill which overlooks the town. There are two lifts in the hotel and the front desk is well staffed. The people working there are friendly and efficient. Their communication skills are good - they seem to be multi-lingual. I have stayed there five times now and have never had cause to make a complaint! One curious feature of the hotel is that we rarely heard or saw any other guests.it is very quiet and peaceful. If I could make two recommendations, it would be that the choice of Tv programmes is not as wide as it could be in a multinational hotel. Apart from CNN and BBC World, all the channels seemed to be German. guests from other areas would be disappointed. Also, Wi-fi was available only on the ground floor and for the private individual, it was relatively expensive. I had just come from a Mercure hotel in Colmar where it was free everywhere in the hotel. These days, everyone wants the Mercure system!
