Three stories of laid-back vibes located a few houses in from the Pacific Ocean. Outfitted with chic decor and flooded in natural light, Slide open the large vanishing doors to create an indoor/outdoor setting and find a cozy outdoor dining area with a grill, outdoor shower, and a serene sense of privacy. The spacious kitchen has a gas stove, tons of counter and storage space, and a sleek island with bar seating. Take your pick between two different living rooms on the first floor, each with a TV that can stream your favorite shows or movies. Outside the vanishing sliders, you'll find a great outdoor area with a grill that leads to the detached garage. Rinse off in our fresh water outdoor shower on the way back from the beach. With Central Air conditioning in the entire house and an additional mini split unit on the 3rd floor, since it gets a bit hotter on the third level. On the third floor, you'll find an additional living room area with the nicest view in the house along with an additional guest bathroom, sink, and small fridge. The top level also opens up to a balcony with awesome ocean views. On the second level, choose between two rooms with queen beds that share a Jack-and-Jill bathroom or the master bedroom with an en-suite bathroom and another private balcony overlooking the water. Travelers should be aware: this property was not safe, not clean, and not as advertised. I strongly recommend avoiding this rental until these serious issues are resolved.I booked this property for 5 nights in September 2025 and had to vacate within 12 hours because it was a health risk and unsafe to stay.From the moment I checked in, the house had a strong chemical odor that caused burning eyes, throat irritation, dizziness, and skin reactions. Despite airing it out, the symptoms worsened overnight and I had to leave at 2 AM for my health and safety.When I returned the next morning to investigate, I found:HVAC vents on the second floor covered in dust and grimeA third-floor AC unit covered in black dirt (possible mold)Thick dust and debris on baseboards throughout the houseFurniture with stains, hair, and dirtI documented everything with photographs and notified the host immediately. While the host offered to send a cleaning crew the next day, the property was already uninhabitable. After just minutes back inside, my symptoms returned, and I had to leave permanently.It was clear that the property was not maintained and had not been throughly cleaned Vrbo investigated my case, reviewed the evidence, and ordered the host to issue a full refund.
