Visit Yosemite Forest's Edge for a memorable family getaway. Forest's Edge is very close the Nelder Grove, just 13 miles to Yosemite's South Gate and Mariposa Grove while just 6.5 miles to Bass Lake. You will find beautiful views, gorgeous sunsets and regular visits from nature, including deer, turkeys and other wildlife.

During the day, you can visit Yosemite Valley, hike the Mariposa Grove, see Glacier Point or Bridalveil Falls and in the evening you can watch the sunset while seated around the fire.

Great place to stay

We really enjoyed staying here. Plenty of room for all 7 of us. The owner is great at communicating and we knew if we needed anything during our stay all we had to do was ask.

Close to Yosemite

House was well equipped with all the basics needed for our stay. It was about 30 minutes to the South entrance of Yosemite which was perfect for our trip. Beds were comfortable and plenty of room for our group of six to stay comfortably. Thank you!

Fun, close stay near Yosemite Park

Such a fun stay with friends for a weekend in Yosemite! We booked Michael’s place because it was about 25-30ish minutes from Yosemite’s South Entrance. This home is also about a 10-15 minute drive to Bass Lake which was a bonus! Loved the fully stocked kitchen. This was nice because we cooked and ate at home during our stay. Beds were super comfy as well and had the best sleep after hiking for a whole day. Check-in process was super easy and appreciated Michael’s swift responses. He made sure everything went smoothly and that we had a nice stay. Definitely book this spot if you’re visiting soon!
