The home is also a short drive from beautiful Bass Lake, where you can enjoy boating, skiing, fishing, swimming, hiking, and bicycling. The Pines Village at the lake provides restaurants, a general market, bars, shops, and a full-service marina with rental boats, jet skis, and kayaks. Bass Lake is less than 15 miles from the southern entrance of Yosemite National Park. Bass Lake reaches its peak water levels in the summer months and is lowered by 50 percent during the fall and winter months annually. Because of this summer water levels vary each year depending on the winter season rain and snowfall. Parking notes: There is free parking available for 4 vehicles. Damage waiver: The total cost of your reservation for this Property includes a nightly damage waiver fee, plus tax if applicable (the “Damage Waiver”). (A discount may be applied for stays of 28 nights or longer, if permitted.) I had an amazing stay at this Vacasa rental! The house was spotless, beautifully decorated, and stocked with everything we needed—from kitchen essentials to extra towels. The beds were super comfortable, and the check-in process was seamless with clear instructions. The location was perfect—close to local attractions but still peaceful and private. The home was beautiful, fully equipped with almost all that you would need. I would suggest to offer more cooking spices available. We are big foodies, and buying all spices and olive oil needed to make meals was very pricy. The home was very clean, however, after walking on the floors, our feet were black. So the floors did not get cleaned before we checked in. There were a few issues, one main one being the front door lock was broken. We could not lock it when we were trying to leave for the day. We followed their instructions perfectly. Had to call customer service. All they did was repeat the same instructions. Not helpful. They offered to send someone out, however after all this time we wasted 2 hours of our day, and made us late to our Yosemite reservation. It was a real disappointment that no one could help us quicker. Also, we very much enjoyed the beautiful back yard. But you should know it is in a neighborhood and unleashed dogs came roaming over to us while we were relaxing in the back yard. We were fine, but our young son was very nervous as we do not know these dogs and if they were friendly or not.
