Breakfast was good the first day the second day the sausages and bacon were both pink and undercooked.
Why are hotel showers early-morning intelligence scald-or-freeze tests? Why not have simple instructions? Likewise the coffee-machine, which can serve hot water for fresh tea but only if you ask a member of staff how, because you'll never discover otherwise, unless you're aged ten and know these things anyway.
The lobby-reception area is like walking into a deserted office at midnight. Almost sinister. I wouldn't usually recommend muzak, but soft piano music might lighten the atmosphere. NOT endless Vivaldi, or your staff will go mad.
I reported a faulty ceiling light, not expecting it to be repaired instantly. It was.
Your staff are generally good-to-excellent, but there is no excuse for sausages that do not appear to have been cooked through.
I would unhesitatingly recommend your hotel. However, I would agree a deal with The Craddock, whose business drops alarmingly in the evening. Give your guests discount-vouchers to eat late there, and both you and the Craddock would benefit.
BTW, your shower is excellent, once one has worked out how to use it.
