The resort is wonderful if you want to be away from the crowds and tourists of Waikiki Beach. It is pricey, but worth it. The resort overlooks the ocean, pool, golf course, dolphin lagoon, total panoramic view. I'm sure all the rooms have great views, and the ocean view is more expensive. The staff was very friendly and accommodating. If you select the right time, the ocean is almost private for you to swim. The pool is smaller than expected, but it was mostly kids, so I suggest an ocean swim. It's safe and shallow for quite a distance, but not ideal for snorkeling which requires longer distance out into the ocean. Luckily, there weren't too many rocks or coral to step on. There are surf lessons, kayaking, and dolphin experience. It seems the dolphins were well taken care of and have plenty of the day to themselves, so it's not constant work for them which would not be good. Plumeria breakfast buffet by the water is the best! High tea is served by the lobby, and great room service. The spa treatments are expensive, but it was wonderful since you get your own private room equipped with massage table, bathroom, tub, and vanity.
