Had to stay close to Medical facilities

Posted 19-Apr-2018
Close to all medical facilities that we needed. Staff was very helpful, suite was clean with ocean view. Some homeless on street, but that is now the way of all cities.

Good location in Honolulu

In the centre of downtown Honolulu, you can walk to most place of city. Big room, nice view. A lot of restaurants around and you have a lot of choice of food.

Checked in, then promptly checked out

Posted 13-Apr-2018
I reserved two rooms for a colleague and I on a recent business trip to Honolulu. After checking in and seeing the condition of the hotel room, I promptly checked out, my colleague felt the same. We had to book another hotel last minute, an unfortunate unplanned cost as these rooms were prepaid. The room had countless stains all over the floor, torn carpets, and tears in the walls, it smelled, and there were hairs in the bed. The bed itself was very worn and had lost all it's support. The staff were friendly, and I chose not to complain, just leave. That said, I'm writing this to warn you. This hotel does not live up to how it was marketed on Expedia.

Only choice downtown - ask for updated room

Posted 27-Mar-2018
So this hotel is hit or miss. For business travel it's very convenient for the location, right across the street from my firm's office and there really isn't other hotel options. The staff are very pleasant but the hotel is very old (decor and feel are late 80s/early 90s) and the rooms look it. However, they are renovating/updating the rooms with better furniture, beds and carpet. See if you can request one as there is a comfort difference between the two. The suites have nice TVs and every room has its own wifi which is a plus for fast connections.

Hard to find hotel!

Posted 26-Feb-2018
First time in Honolulu. This hotel was downtown on a busy one way street. The hotel room was older although it had a kitchenette. Bathtub was brown in color with brown tiles. Very dated. Nice view of the water

The check in staff at the front desk were amazing. The room was lacking. Spacious, but the carpets were incredibly stained, there was a very concerning reddish smear running towards the bathroom. The wallpaper was lifting everywhere. Rips in the furniture and sheets. Exposed wires everywhere. Has the potential to be a good room, but things have clearly been slipping. The view was really nice though, even though we didn’t have an ocean view, it was very nice to see Honolulu from above.
