The check in staff at the front desk were amazing. The room was lacking. Spacious, but the carpets were incredibly stained, there was a very concerning reddish smear running towards the bathroom. The wallpaper was lifting everywhere. Rips in the furniture and sheets. Exposed wires everywhere. Has the potential to be a good room, but things have clearly been slipping. The view was really nice though, even though we didn’t have an ocean view, it was very nice to see Honolulu from above.

Nice hotel in downtown Honolulu

Posted 21-Jan-2018
Nice spacious room with washer-dryer and kitchen, and bird's eye view of Honolulu from floor to ceiling windows. Walking distance to harbor, palace, lots of ethnic eating spots, and other downtown sites. Only hesitation in recommending the hotel is that the entrance is located near a bus stop where people gather day and night. I did not feel 100 percent comfortable walking alone in the area after 8 pm.

The room was not clean, requested for late check out and ended up paying $114 extra for late check out and parking. My room key was deactivated 2 hours after I got in and went to get dinner. Had to go down multiple times to have it reactivited. The elevators are so slow. Old hotel that needs revamp, new carpets, paint, new furnitures. Won’t stay here again.

Perfect hotel

No complaints about this hotel. The room was spotless and the staff were all very nice. There are many shops within walking distance. I would definitely stay there again.

More a suite than room - great

Posted 17-Dec-2017
Pros: The roominess of the suite, the good location, the staff.
Cons: Not a thing, unless they offered a free breakfast but does have a kitchen so can easily make coffee & have a breakfast bar with you for quick AM start
Location: Some shops and restaurants and very very handy to the pier which is why we chose it.
The room was actually two rooms (kitchen/dining area/desk) and then a huge bedroom with easy chair and large TV and comfortable bed. Walking distance to many things, convenient to pier if you are cruising before or after your stay. Also forgot an item when we checked out & they found it and packaged with name & room and had it when I called. Definitely would recommend this place.

Downtown Honolulu

Posted 14-Dec-2017
Pros: Pleasant staff. Accommodating room. Great location.
Cons: The elevators are being updated. There were times when I had to wait for an elevator for 10 minutes.
Location: Downtown Honolulu. Away from the hassle of Waikiki.
The room was very clean other than some dust on the bathroom fan. Otherwise the cleaning staff did a great job of tidying up the room. Centrally located for our stay. My son's wedding was just two blocks away.

Convenient downtown location

Posted 05-Dec-2017
Delighted with my choice of hotel. This was my first visit to Oahu, and I wanted to avoid staying in the busier touristy places around Waikiki. Great location - quiet, places to eat nearby. Some reviews had mentioned homelessness as a problem in downtown. Unfortunately it exists all over the island so there’s no escaping that fact, but it doesn’t present any problems. Really convenient parking with allocated bays. Room was spacious, clean, with a kitchenette, plus a great view of the mountains. Staff were helpful and friendly.
