Great hotel to stay at if location/budget/ and conveinance is what your looking for. Will stay again. Kitchenette was super handy and I enjoyed the large balcony with the view of the beach. The rooftop BBQ was also a plus. Thanks alot to all the staff.

Loved the rooftop pool and jacuzzi, bbq area and a great view of Waikiki. There’s also a cool lounge with pool table on the top floor and only a short walk to the beach! The room was spacious with a kitchen!

We've been to Oahu 3 times and this place was the best so far! Only a 3 minute walk to Waikiki beach and restaurants and high end shopping ( if thats what your after) and a nice roof top sauna . hottub and pool. Balconies are wide but narrow but the partial ocean/ city views were great!! It was clean and the staff very friendly!

Good value for money, near the beach and in the center of it all. On a bustling street with some street noise. An older building (older furnishings and AC), but we were comfortable and enjoyed our stay. Parking was on site, convenient, in and out privileges and $35 / nt (relatively inexpensive for the area).

Amazing hotel! You have everything you need and more! Walking distance to the beach (5minutes) , shops and restaurants (same time) . You have an amazing lounge area on the roof (pool and hot tub plus sauna and grill) . Can’t wait to come back! Thank you to all the staff! You guys rock!

The property was outdated. Like the bathroom was in poor condition though on the upside it did work. The tub was dirty and needed replacing. I was too scared to touch the sides of the tub it was so dirty. Carpet was coming up in areas. The outside deck table had dirt and grime. Couch looked dirty and old. The pros was that it was well stocked. Had extra pillows. Had cutlery and dishes. It had toaster, microwave, fridge, and electric stove with oven. Had a table to eat at. Now the desk service was terrible. They hide behind the desk with their computers and never greeted guests. The complimentary lemon water was empty and the desk service was like ok. She acknowledged it but made no motion to assure that it would be filled soon. They did fill it eventually. There car situation was ok. So if you aren’t bougie and ok with a hotel that isn’t super pristine and up to date then this place is for you. Fits a lot of ppl and has a big balcony too.

Stayed for just under a month over Christmas and New Year. Apartment was a good size, and perfectly functional. In unit decor was a little dated, but did not affect the quality of our stay. Communal areas have been recently updated. House keeping attended every 3 days, more often if requested. Air con unit was noisy, but being 20 floors up we could leave the doors open if needed, so no real problem. There was a bit of noise from the street, but this is to be expected when in a city. Building is two blocks away from Waikiki beach. Couldn't ask for a more convenient location for dining, beach and shopping. We enjoyed our stay and cannot fault the hospitality provided at the Pacific Monarch.

We loved our stay at Pacific Monarch. While the room was a bit dated, it was very clean, loved having the kitchen, conveniently located near the beach, shopping and restaurants. Staff was friendly and helpful. Our only reason for 4 stars instead of 5 is that our AC unit died, we did notify staff, but when they sent maintenance to inspect, it seems they only verified the compressor was running-but the fan was not moving, so no cold air was coming out of the unit. Beautiful breezes kept the room cooler, so we didn't bother notifying a second time.

Great location @ fair price!
Location location location (truly just 2 blocks from Waikiki beach) with great local food and the best and cheapest surfboards to rent, on that walk. All at a fair price. Get a room as high up as you can for great views and less noise (construction near the west side of the building). Not an elegant room, but it worked. Daily maid service was a huge plus with the beach sand following you back ;). Service all super polite and helpful. I’d stay again!

It is very good for a family of four, Centrally located , convenient to every important land marks. Need to be improved : I did not find power outlets near to bed for evening phone charging. I hope the bed not so soft. This is a spacious room, but with a very small bathroom.
