"We are a small group (5) of motorcycle riders that have gone to Calabogie for the last 10 years or so. The place we used to stay at changed hands and was no longer available so we checked out Frank's place. We were very happy with the accommodation. Everything was as described and Frank was a great host. He met us, walked us through the place and even offered some tours of the area. Next year Frank's will be at the top of our list."

"The building is the old Post office which is super unique ! The apartment spotless . Very updated and nicely decorated . Wish we had more time to see the cute town. Had a small problem with code for check in but Caleb resolved immediately ! Would recommend staying . Thank you for enjoyable stay !"

"Great location at the foot of a ski resort. The facility is clean with a great restaurant, pool and sauna. Nightly bonfire overlooking the mountain. Took the ski lift up to the top and a nice hike back down the hill. One complaint was a lack of cream for the morning coffee. Staff were accommodating and friendly. Nice quiet little golf course across the street. Been here before and keep coming back. Hidden treasure."

"Wow! The cottage was immaculately clean, very nicely furnished and had thoughtful touches everywhere! It felt like staying at a spa. The lake is private and quiet. We enjoyed using the fire pit (appreciated that kindling, paper and lighter were already set up), the kayaks, the comfortable armchairs in the living room, the outdoor zero gravity chairs, and the nice rainfall shower head! Also appreciated the welcome treats and washroom toiletries! The master bed was very comfy. The property (garden, walkways, steps, dock) is very nicely maintained outside. Don’t hesitate to book!!"

"A beautiful, large house in a prime location for exploring the Ottawa Valley. It came equipped with all the amenities needed for our stay. Our host, Zach was easy to contact and answered all our concerns promptly. All-in-all, a great stay."

Cozy & Small Guest House Near Calabogie

"The bunkie was a perfect space for me, my husband, and our med and lg dogs. There is a beautiful view of the Ottawa River from the bedroom. The host has thought of almost anything you could need, from a guide of trails and attractions in the area, to a tie out on the deck for a dog, a variety of snacks for any type of palate, spices and oils for you to cook with, even instant oats and coffee or tea for the morning if you'd like. It felt very homey and warm, and we could imagine how warm it would be in the winter with the cute fireplace. I dropped one star because the one night we stayed here, the fire stick/t.v. didn't work for us (though we didn't reach out for help) and the bed could use a 2" or 3" foam topper, we had difficulty sleeping. Overall however, we were very impressed with this property."
