Great location, but rooms need renovation

Posted 21-Aug-2017
Pros: Location
Cons: Rooms.
Location: They are right on beach with their own restaurants, shops, and markets, which is great. It's right across the street from Bali Collection.
The location is excellent with large area, and right across from Bali Collection (shopping area with many restaurants). The rooms are beginning to show age, and could do with a renovation.

Good hotel with great staff and good facilities

Posted 11-Aug-2017
Pros: The pool was great. There is also a kids club to keep the youngsters engaged. The beach is great and there are daily dance performances in the evening
Cons: The breakfast collection could be more varied.
Location: The hotel has a nice large pool with a water slide. They also have water sports facilities though I didn't use them. Nice shopping complex outside.
I was at the hotel with my family, including an infant. The hotel has large rooms and quite a few amenities to keep the kids occupied. There is a great beach on one side and good collection of restaurants and shopping places on the other side. If you're looking for a relaxing holiday and want to sit back and chill, I'd recommend Grand Hyatt to you!

Location, Location, Location

Posted 03-Aug-2017
Pros: Location, Location, Location and honestly caring staff committed to serving their guests
Cons: Upgrade rooms; addtional restaurants; better range / quality of food; bar / lounge service conducive to enjoying sundowners without breaking the bank
Location: Incredible location, white sand beach and surf...
An older hotel that still holds her charm due to it's incredible location, wonderful white sane beach and surf. While clearly showing signs of her age, the resort offers a great family retreat with wonderful amenities for children. A limited selection of restaurants that are expensive for the quality of food offered. The lounge offers amazing views and is usually empty due to its outrageously expensive cocktails.

Satisfactory but definitely flawed.

Posted 26-Jul-2017
My family was very excited for our big trip to Bali. The Hyatt was our last destination before featuring home, but it was definitely the least pleasant stay/experience of the entire trip. The workers were rude and showed us attitude sometimes, our orders came out wrong, more money was charged for things we didn't purchase. Also, there was a large group of men that was on a trip in that hotel who were very disruptive and ignorant of the other people who were staying at the hotel. We feel that this could have been better managed. For example, they were extremely loud during the might, waking my family up multiple of times during the night. Also, they were splashino water into us constantly in the water, ,a king what was supposed to be a relaxing experience a very disruptive and unpleasant one.

Awesome beach

Posted 16-Jul-2017
Beach with great waves for great fun . Gorgeous! Short walk to shops and yummy restaurant- OLE OLE - went twice. Breakfast at hotel is boring. No changes in week we were there. Food is generally very good -a bit pricey. Very fast from airport. Rooms are dated - and mirror in bathroom damaged. Staff are very good - better if you don't need anything extra .

Fantastic Hotel

Posted 13-Jul-2017
Pros: A truly wonderful experience
Cons: The check in was too slow!!! There are 4 restaurants. Only the Japanese one was up to 5 star international standards
Location: Bali has wonderful temples and craft items for sale
The Grand Hyatt Hotel is beautiful. The gardens alone are spectacular but at $144 a night including a huge buffet breakfast make this hotel one of the greatest bargains. There is not a staff person from the janitors to the reception who does not greet you every moment..

Amazing family holiday

Posted 03-Jul-2017
Pros: The gardens and grounds are well established and stunning.
Cons: Breakfast was a bit busy on a few mornings, but most of the time we had no trouble getting a table.
Location: Great location, directly across the road from a local shopping centre and near local tourist attractions (Ubud and Uluwatu Temple).
We recently stayed at the Grand Hyatt for 7 nights (2 adults and two children - boys 6 and 8) and absolutely loved this amazing piece of paradise. The hotel is 'grand' as the name suggests, and the surrounding gardens are well established and luxurious. The grass was like velvet and the lily ponds and bridges were like walking through a living Monet painting. Every single staff member was helpful and friendly from the concierge, reception staff, gardeners, cleaning attendants - always a warm hello. INFO FOR FAMILIES: Our 6 and 8 year old boys just loved the water slide and connecting river ways which connected to the main pool. As the kids area is set away from the main pool (but not too far) they can yahoo and scream as much as they want without disturbing the adults looking for some peace and quiet. They must have used that water slide 50 times a day and never tired of it. We bought some blow up pool toys from the shops across the road and this doubled the fun. The beach is very good and the water clear (so much nicer than Seminyak) and when the tide goes out, you can walk for miles looking for crabs, starfish, hermit crabs - all sorts of little creatures to discover. The boys took some surfing lessons from the surf shop directly next to the hotel which they loved, plus we did bike riding, enjoyed the nightly shows and markets.

Great location at Nusa Dua

Posted 26-Jun-2017
I lived in building #4 which is only few minutes walk to the Bali Collection. Very convenient to access restaurants, shops and SPAs. The room is spacious and comfortable but the decoration is a little bit old. There is great view from the swimming pool and the beach. High quality food is provided in the restaurants inside the hotel.
