We loved our stay at Casa Maria, such a bright colourful space with welcoming staff and a lovely boutique feel. Great rooms and a nice area to relax by the pool at the end of a busy day. Really close to the Los Muertos pier and the start of the Malecon. Would definitely stay again.

The house(B&B ) is great. Lovely rooms, beautifully kept garden and terrace out the back for breakfasts. Good foods for breakfast also. Obviously the regular customers I met there speaks volumes of how good Casa Virgilios is. The location is good not more than 10minutes (2min) drive to the beaches. The owners made certain we were comfortable and most helpful regarding the nearby market for shopping, which proved invaluable for getting local ingredients for cooking meals. Nice, fully furnished kitchen as well! This is not resort life by no means as you hear local children playing in the streets and the sounds of barking dogs, etc. The walk to the beach is maybe 8-10 minutes but often across rough pavements so not advised for anyone with walking or mobility issues. We stayed in several different hotels during our trip and this was the last one before we flew home (chose it as close to the airport) was set in very beautiful scenic grounds with lots of flowers & ponds/waterways & had fish and a peacock. We love to see animals around hotel. Hotel easily accessible with buggy & had lifts. Had a nice view from bedroom over sea but disappointingly the windows were screwed shut .
