"This house is in a great central location to everything you want to do in la fortuna. The AC worked great in all the bedrooms. There is no AC in the living areas, but the bedrooms more than made up for this! Plenty big for our group of 10! Loved sitting on the covered porch upstairs during rain storms. Kids loved the pool. We had a chef make us dinner one night and it was amazing! The owner cut down a coconut for us and let us drink the coconut water. Felt very secure with the front gate. Really...

"This house is beautiful, located outside of town so it’s quiet but next door to a wonderful BBQ restaurant. The property is a bit further away from town than I personally would like to walk but it’s not too far. We ran out of LP and a quick message to Patrick about 07:00, replaced by noon no fuss no muss. I would definitely stay here again. Great pool, great view of the volcano!"

"The house is very nice and comfortable. What makes this property special is the hos, the property and a great location. Though the property is not particularly large it is packed full of interesting plants and wildlife (birds, a young sloth, reptiles, etc.). The host was always willing to answer our questions and we had a great time taking a cooking class (a family affair) where we prepared, cooked and then ate a wide variety of local foods. Great place to stay. "

"We enjoyed our time and the rooms were very accommodating. Loved location next to the bakery down the street and only a block and a half from a nice grocery store. Made walking good. We walked to town a couple times which was further away but still very doable."

"absolutely loved this hotel and would definitely go back. It was very clean. The hot springs were my favorite part!! The hotel breakfast was so good! "If I could only go to one place in Costa Rica, this would be it. Our casita was gorgeous - beautiful, tropical, clean, and comfortable. Our front porch looked out at Arenol Volcano. There was also a back porch if one needed shade. We mostly at ate the outside patio bar, as they served many lighter meals or a full dining room menu, and a wide selection of specialty drinks. Breakfast buffet is served in the main dining room with a wide variety of traditional Costa Rican and American breakfast dishes, and an omelet station, a dessert bar, and wonderful, efficient service. The expansive windows and deck all look out to Arenol. The pools are also beautiful, one with a swim up bar. Bathrooms are convenient and there are plenty of patio chairs, both in the sun or shade. We only stayed two nights but should have stayed longer as there is so much to see and do around La Fortuna and Arenol. Our favorite adventure was the Arenol Waterfall, a short drive from Lomas del Volcán. "
