If you want a dump this is it
Bed is essentially a luggage rack with a rock hard mattress. Filthy. Staines in the bathroom are so ingrained they would need carbon dating to see what or how old they are. Staines all over the carpet. Stank of smoke even though apparently it is a non smoking hotel. Ive never been so glad breakfast wasnt included before. Receptionist was very friendly and helpful to be fair.

Needs a complete refurb. Old, cracked, stained sanitary ware and very thin mattress. Man on reception was lovely though - very helpful.

Good honest hotel.
very helpful friendly staff, warm welcome, nothing was too much effort, all our questions answered. room was basic but better than expected. Good place to stay for the one night if returning to/visiting UK

Needs a few updates
Stayed here 1 night before a EURO 2016 game. Hotel staff at check-in was very nice and helpful. One thing we noticed immediately walking up the stairs to our room was the awful carpet. Very worn with lots and lots of stains. When we opened the door to our room, 132, there was a powerful mildew odor present. The carpet was very bad. We were apprehensive to take off our shoes. The carpet right before the bathroom was a different color from water damage and dirt. Since there was no a/c, we opened the window and went out for the game. When we returned the mildew smell was still present, but not as strong after being aired out for a few hours. Bed was comfortable but we did not feel comfortable taking a shower before we left the next morning. New carpet saves this place.

I can honestly say that in my 30+ years of staying in hotels around the world, but none of them come down to this standard - this must go down as the worst. Only we arrived so late in the night I would have left and found somewhere else. The morning could not come soon enough. The area that the hotel is based is quite run-down; we felt very insecure and could not leave the place quick enough. The room had a pungent smell; a cross between a bad smell and something applied to get rid of the smell. The carpets in the room were sticky and dirty especially around the door to the bathroom. Not only were the carpets bad in the room but the hallway carpet looked as though something had been spilt on it and it was thread-bare in places. I had originally intended to spend a week in this hotel but the doorman made a mistake when he was booking us in and only booked in for one night - thank goodness. I would not recommend this hotel to anyone - there are plenty of good hotels in and around Lens but certainly is not one.

The staff were excellent, couldn't be more helpful. The room was small but we weren't there to stay in. The negatives were that the shower cabinet was so small it was impossible to bend in it and the carpeting throughout was old and worn and it was badly stained throughout. Time for a new carpet. Would we go again? Only if we lost enough weight to let us fit in the shower.

Convenient Hotel
This is a very good example of a budget hotel It is very quiet and very easy to find. There is even a food store very close by when you do not want to eat out!

for an overnight stopover it was fine and good value. You get what you pay for which is bare minimum. Helpful friendly staff. Not easiest to find but clean, miniscule towels and no trimmings. If you are used to tea/coffee making facilities, get used to fact that their is nothing like that.

All rooms are smoking and staff are very rude
They say you get what you pay for. This hotel is conveniently located on the highway to get to Lens, Lille, or other surrounding small towns. It is also the cheapest place around for a reason. Our first room reeked of smoke. When we asked for a non-smoking room, the attendent said our room was non-smoking. He even came up and said he didn't smell anything. Which was likely true because the lobby smelled so much worse he was probably desensitized. There is no phone access anywhere in the building and they won't print or do anything for you. The breakfast is overpriced and the free wi-fi is slow. You have to pay for wi-fi that is usable. We got a different room the second night. It didn't smell as bad, but there were still cigarette burns on the bathroom sink. (There were burns in the first room too.) There are other cheap hotels in the area, but they aren't on hotels.com. I walked into another one and asked if they would print my bus ticket when I needed to leave and they did it for me even though I wasn't even a guest.

Hotel Cerise Lens
Perfect for an overnight stay to or from the south of France. The gentleman on reception was very welcoming and the bed was surprisingly comfortable. There is a lovely steak house across the road if you need an evening meal which we would thoroughly recommend. The only complaint, if we had to make one, was that the bathroom was a bit grubby. Considering the price we paid it was very good. Cannot comment on the breakfast as we left very early, although there were vending machines if you wanted something. Would certainly stay there again.

The hotel was clean and acceptable but at the same time you must remember that you get what you pay for. A sat nav is also handy for finding location.

This hotel was very convenient for the motorway - right next to it so very noisy. The room was extremely basic resembling a small caravan. One bunk was above the double bed and the sink was covered in cigarette burns. There was noone on the desk so we were let in by security. Although four of us were sharing a room there were only three pillows. We have stayed in many budget hotels but this did not meet the basic standards we have normally met.

Great for overnight stay on long journeys. Just could not find its location. We had to ask local residents for directions. If we ware traveling late at night it would have been struggle. It should have been sign posted better. Aslo advertise with free WiFi - had to log on into another hotels WiFi for acces.

Nous avons réservé dans l apres midi, sur le site il etait noté un lit double et 1 une place ainsi que sur le ticket et le mail de confirmation. Nous avons eu la desagreable surprise de tomber sur une chambre avec un seul lit double. Nous avons demandé un matelas ou un lit parapluie pour notre petite. Le personnel surplace n avait acces a rien donc nous avons du domir a trois dans les lit double. Nous avons ete prélevé 2 fois pour la chambre, selon le personnel present nous devrions etre remboursé d ici a 3 semaines ....

Séjour pitoyable mis à part l'état exécrable de la salle de bains : cheveux encore restants dans le lavabo, énorme trace de rouille, joint quasiment noirs... une erreur de la réception qui engendre une irruption de personnes qui rentrent dans ma chambre en plein milieu de la nuit.. Bref a fuir

Réservation faite avec hôtel. Com à l arrivée, on n était pas enregistré sur truc mais on été sur la liste ! Les petits déj était inclus dans le forfait acheté mais au final on nous dit que c est pas dans la réservation ! Lit trop mou et oreiller aussi ! La salle de bain beaucoup trop vétuste ! Pas de place il ne faut vraiment pas être corpulent surtout dans la douche !
