Good hotel. What we expect from Ibis.

Posted 08-Jun-2017
Pros: Nice and clean. Roomy.
Cons: I would like a face cloth and a phone in the room.
Location: We were near a vibrant city centre. Very nice. Stayed there as close by train to relatives nearby.
We found our room large and clean. Would have liked a face cloth and a phone in the room. We asked for two extra pillows but got only one. Otherwise everything was fine. We'd stay there again.

Excellent location. Clean rooms.

Posted 11-May-2017
Pros: Very well located in the city. About 5 minutes walk to Market Square (centre of the city) and close to buses, trams, trains etc
Cons: Generally this hotel is as expected for the price.
Location: There are restaurants, bars, cafes and all that central Nottingham has to offer within 10 minutes walk. Excellent location.
I've stayed at the Ibis in Nottingham city centre before and my general experience is that its good but can get noisy if its busy as its so well located near to bars etc that it is attractive to tourists, parties etc. In the week it is quieter and this makes it more suitable for business travellers.

Well located Hotel - clean and friendly

Posted 08-May-2017
Pros: Clean, tidy and friendly well situated to get to all the attractions of Nottingham
Like many people, I was looking for somewhere to stay overnight after attending a show in the city. I opted for the Ibis, as it seemed to be central to where I wanted to be and this was indeed the case. A brief walk from the train station brought me to the hotel reception, staff where on hand immediately and as I had booked on line the check in process was quick and easy. The room was clean and tidy with a good bed, TV and WiFi (which was easy to connect to and performed well). the shower was also clean and tidy and a decent size too. I'm not much of a fan of hotel tea & coffee but, with a couple of supermarkets within meters of the hotel lobby it was easy to get hold of supplies. Plenty of shops and bars within walking distance and all of the main venues in the area are accessible on foot too. Check out was easy, just drop the key card into the drop box and away you go. I cant comment on the food, as there are so many cool places to dine in Nottingham that I ate ate out during my stay.

Hotel location

Posted 07-May-2017
Pros: The casual attitude of the staff, albeit very proffessional which made the hotel guests feel relaxed.
Location: Good location for the City night life.
Good location for the Motorpoint Arena with good parking adjacent.

Great Overnight stay option for evening out

Posted 23-Apr-2017
Had tickets to attend the royal concert hall to see Jimmy Carr, we booked a hotel so we could both have a drink and enjoy our night. The hotel was in a great location to get a bite to eat before and then walk to the venue. Walking duration was 10-15 minutes maximum. Check-in was very very quick, it was modern and the bathroom was spacious for us to what we normally stay in. Bed was very comfy and we both slept like babies. For an overnight stay I would definitely recommend.

Good location to arena and train station

Posted 17-Apr-2017
Great stay, easy check in and check out. Breakfast is over priced, loads of places near by that you can get a good breakfast for half the price. Really secure at night and in a good area. Will definitely be booking again!

Decent hotel, great location

Easy to find, right opposite a big car park and a minute away from bars. The hotel itself is quite small but has what you need

Great value comfortable hotel in great location

Posted 12-Apr-2017
I stayed 2 nights in a twin room with my mum. The hotel is in a convenient location about 10-15 minutes walk from the train station and a few minutes away from shops and places to eat. There is a response express practically next door. Nottingham has great shopping and lots of interesting places to see.
