Nice hotel in center of Nottingham

Posted 27-Mar-2017
Pros: Location, cost and cleandliness
Cons: Don't know really at this price level
Location: Easy walking distance of pubs, theatres, restaurants, shops and right on the tram route with a stop right outside
Did what it said on the tin, clean, comfortable convenient and value for money

Good budget hotel

Posted 21-Mar-2017
Location: Very central for shopping and nightlife (nightlife starts early and is quite full on - lots of students)
Good budget hotel. Very helpful receptionist as I had actually booked our stay for the wrong date and turned up a day early! She managed to sort out rooms for us and was very helpful and pleasant about it.

Will stick to Radison in future

Pros: Leaving it
Cons: EVERYTHING, the cleaning staff need re-educating, kitchen staff need re-educating and management need to keep in touch.
Location: As the bar was unstaffed and I waited 5 minutes just to get a glass of water I left the hotel and went to the Tesco Express next door for a sandwich.
I booked a family room online and went to the hotel. Firstly, even though I booked a family room so I could have a bit more room I was put in a box with a modular plastic bathroom! The bed was hard, the pillows (only 3) were rock hard. I got less than 3 hours sleep. The floor had glitter on it from the previous guests which transferred off my feet into the bed. Breakfast was another story! I went down to the restaurant and as I reached for a plate, I was soon aware that it was covered in mashed potato and gravy! The waiter rushed out of the kitchen at this time and said "room number please", I said never mind the room number these plates are filthy and unwashed! He said sorry and rushed away. NOBODY, came to me to formally apologise and I left to attend my eye surgery appointment in a great state of stress. I emailed Ibis this morning at 7am and as yet they have not called or mailed back. Yes, I could have complained on the day but I did not want an argument before my eye surgery with staff who's English is their second language. Image shows the glitter on the floor.

exceeded our expectations

Posted 27-Feb-2017
Pros: Great location, clean and comfortable. Would definitely recommend and stay here again. The bed was super comfy.
Cons: a minor detail, but we had coffee/tea in the room but no milk. it was given to us on asking at the reception. might have been an oversight.
Location: we had been visiting Nottingham university... and the very cheap bus from campus stops directly outside the IBIS. Perfect for us.
we had no complaints and were very pleasantly surprised.

Had tickets for X factor. Didn't want to drive home after show. Required 2 inexpensive rooms for one night. Pleasantly surprised at the size of the rooms and facilities. Spotlessly clean. All staff friendly. No view in one of the rooms but we hadn't gone to sightsee.

Ibis Nottingham. Good hotel, excellent value

Posted 24-Feb-2017
Pros: Great value for money, far better than expected quality for the price I paid
Cons: Nothing at that price
Location: I was on business but the hotel was in the middle of Nottingham and car park was over road and tram stop outside.
An enjoyable stay, hotel great value for money and breakfast exceptional value for money. I would go back and I would recommend.
