Will stick to Radison in future
I booked a family room online and went to the hotel. Firstly, even though I booked a family room so I could have a bit more room I was put in a box with a modular plastic bathroom! The bed was hard, the pillows (only 3) were rock hard. I got less than 3 hours sleep. The floor had glitter on it from the previous guests which transferred off my feet into the bed. Breakfast was another story! I went down to the restaurant and as I reached for a plate, I was soon aware that it was covered in mashed potato and gravy! The waiter rushed out of the kitchen at this time and said "room number please", I said never mind the room number these plates are filthy and unwashed! He said sorry and rushed away. NOBODY, came to me to formally apologise and I left to attend my eye surgery appointment in a great state of stress. I emailed Ibis this morning at 7am and as yet they have not called or mailed back. Yes, I could have complained on the day but I did not want an argument before my eye surgery with staff who's English is their second language. Image shows the glitter on the floor.
