"A rare pleasure visit"
I have normally stayed here for business reasons. However, for once, it was for a visit for a surprise birthday party. Being after christmas, it was cold up in Nottingham. Strangely enough, we had to heat our room with a heater which we left on while we were out for the evening. Strange that they didn't have proper radiators working etc. Still, I had told my wife that the breakfasts were amazing, with a huge spread for cooked breakfast fanatics like myself. I must have misheard after they said that the top floor (where they previously served dinner/breakfast) had closed down. Yes, breakfast was in the reception area, but it really was "grab and go" as they advertised it; pasties, croissants and coffee along with cartoons of juice. My wife found out that they had closed the top floor and were turning the rooms into "apartments," with kitchens being added. I am marking against previous visits and I'm sure it will work out, but the lack of a prepared warm room and the lack of their excellent past breakfasts meant that I scored lower than I would have before. HOWEVER, the staff were excellent and the room clean with a very comfortable bed.

"Enjoyable stay"
Stayed at hotel for visit to the Motorpoint Arena which is conveniently sited next door. The apartment was as comfortable as we would have hoped and certainly not a disappointment. Hotel staff were polite and helpful in every respect. We hope to return.

"Comfortable accommodation not far from downtown "
The room was very spacious, with a large living room/dining area. As stated in the name it's a serviced apartment so no daily housekeeping service and housekeeping is normally done once per week. There was a fridge/freezer, electric oven and stove, microwave and washer/dryer in the room. The accommodation may perhaps be more attractive to longer term visitors and anyone who's inclined to keep their costs down by taking care of things like cooking and washing themselves. The Wi-Fi on the property was also decent. The area itself was pretty quiet and was a short 5 minute walk to the Nottingham Playhouse and then a bit further into town. The staff was also helpful and friendly. I'd stay there again and would recommend it to others.

Pocket Guide: Apartment Hotels in Nottinghamshire

An apartment hotel in the centre of Nottingham is an altogether much more stylish way of spending time in this vibrant city in central England. Apartments are fully equipped and come with plasma TVs, WiFi and other entertainment features and fully kitted out kitchens. Housekeeping and room service are also on hand to enhance your stay in Nottingham. And while you’re there you’ll find there’s so much to see and do too.

    Exploring Nottingham

Stay close to the Capital FM Arena also known as the Motor Point arena if you’re staying in Nottingham to see a band, act or show. In fact if you’re heading there, why not slip across to the National Ice Centre, the first centre in the country to feature two Olympic-sized rinks? You’ll certainly relish a comfortable apartment hotel after getting your skates on. Elsewhere, the Nottingham Contemporary and Theatre Royal is a city centre landmark, a Victorian theatre with a diverse programme that’s provided Nottingham with first class entertainment for over 140 years. Take in a show, stay in a serviced apartment hotel in Nottingham afterwards.

    Lace and Mistakes

Nottingham is renowned for being in ‘The Lace Triangle’ and still maintains links with its industrial past with The Lace Market, a historic quarter mile square area, formerly the heart of the lace industry and now a wonderful example of 19th century industrial architecture with iron railings, gas lamps and phone boxes dotted around. Here you will also find the Galleries of Justice, an area that’s had a court at its site since 1375. Look up and you can see the mis-spelled County Goal, inscribed by the stonemason. Staying in an apartment hotel in Nottinghamshire lets you head out and explore all the county has to offer from a comfortable base - a home away from home!

    Apartment Hotels in Nottingham

Should you want to dine out, there’s well over a thousand eateries across Nottingham to choose from. From the well-established and highly regarded Veenos to wholefood cafés and familiar high street names, you’ll find the best in international cuisine or food that’s locally sourced. And with plenty of shops just moments away, a city break or longer in Nottingham in a modern apartment hotel is a great way to recharge the batteries.
